My self-summary
So I did the unthinkable and checked out the competition, however I did this unwittingly signed in as myself leaving a trail of my smiling face over a few blokes profiles. If you're one of those guys wondering why I looked at you, apologies, you can take it as a compliment on the most part I clicked you because I envied your beard or fashion sense, except for one of you (you'll know who you are), I clicked on because you can't survive on looks alone and needed to have a great profile... but you didn't, so this is kinda awkward...

My research taught me a few things about what I'm not - I can't play musical instruments, I don't lay in fields looking at the clouds, coffee doesn't physically arouse me, nor does folk music, I don't like instagram, I don't read the Guardian and I won't write you sonnets on napkins when you're not looking, but that's not to say that I wouldn't find all those attributes very attractive in a partner.
What I’m doing with my life
Day Job - I work with start up tech companies, it's a bit like Dragons Den without the cameras or that awful Deborah Meaden

Hobby Job - I'm a comedy writer for BBC Radio 4 - currently working on a sitcom.

Other thing - I'm looking at starting a business - because making other people wealthy is really starting to grate.
I’m really good at
I'll make you laugh, I'll put you first and I'll surprise you - your mum will love me and I'll make instant best friends with your dog. Your friends will all come up to me and tell me that I better look after you, and I actually will.

Travel wise, I'm away a lot and I'm a big fan of adventures. Last year Vietnam, Bangkok, Barcelona, California, New York, Costa Rica - this years all about South America - but I'm one of those people that just books flights and nothing else, you get better stories like that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I tend to be at the centre of most goings on, I'm not built for stealth. If you can't see me, you'll probably hear me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like autobiographies, people really interest me. I have a full bookcase but I'm not the type to highlight specific books - I think one of the best presents you can give anyone is a book they'll love, it's a great sign that you know that person well. I like being given books.

Music wise I'll listen to anything, my spotify playlists are pretty revealing, they're organised by genre and mood - my one ridiculous skill is remembering the words to pretty much every song ever. It's a gift and a curse.

TV wise I love watching comedy, but I'm annoying to watch it with, things like Arrested Development, Partridge, anything by Matt & Trey, Portlandia, HBO Stand Up- Box set wise I've pretty much completed Netflix - not seen any Game of Thrones so kinda keen to see what all the fuss is about.

Food - I can't cook to save my life but in the theory of those who can't do, pay, I eat out about 4-5 times a week so love trying new restaurants - I'm VERY good at drinking and eating, I rarely ever miss my mouth.
Six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Being better. You only get one shot and wasted potential is a total travesty.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out. Unless someone gives me an excellent reason to stay in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Do people actually write things like "I'm worried I might kill again"

Seems a bit of a silly question.
You should message me if
I like adaptability, someone who can go from black tie to dive bar with ease and someone who's comfortable around everyone. I like confident women who love to laugh, have great smiles and 'dangerous opinions of their own' but please be kind, not cold and not averse to a bit of being looked after. I've always liked people who are chasing a dream, passion is incredibly important, but so are sofas, pizzas, boxsets and sundays. If you think that's you, say hi.
