My self-summary
I don't believe in self-summaries unless it's an epitaph. A tad morose, I suppose, but we're all evolving in an ever-progressing world, right? I like to think of myself as good-natured, humorous, philosophical, and other subjective-yet-admirable traits. I want to meet someone who can have a serious discussion, as well as a serious discussion about completely un-serious matters. If we enjoy each other's company, perhaps a stronger bond will develop.
What I’m doing with my life
Okay, #humblebrag time: I've lost a good 70 pounds and not-not-unoticeable amount of muscle getting back into shape. It's a process because I enjoy junk food and being lazy, but those comforts are becoming more and more hollow. Also doing a lot of phonebanking and canvassing for Bernie Sanders. We no longer can afford to just sit back and let American politics continue to devolve into a shit-soaked circus .
I’m really good at
Nothing. I'm going to be perfectly honest here, and say that I have a lot of different interests and there are things that I'm good at, but REALLY GOOD might be stretching it.....I guess I have a really good sense of humor and really good at writing (at times), but maybe what I'm best at is being modest.

Which means I probably should have just left this part blank.
The first things people usually notice about me
I guess a joke of some sort; I'm a naturally shy person, so often times a joke is as good an icebreaker as anything.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Big fan of cinema and television. This where many guys list seldom-watched artsy-fartsy indie flicks to make themselves look good. When it comes to television there is an embarrassment of riches (mostly on Netflix): Game of Thrones, House of Cards (season 4 kicked ass), Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Louie, Parks and Recreation, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Rick and Morty, Community, The West Wing, 30 Rock and currently binge-watching Arrow.
The six things I could never do without
1.) Breathable air
2.) Food
3.) Water
4.) Shelter
5.) Warm clothing
6.) Your company (smiley emoticon)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I give equal amounts of thought to stuff that matters as to nonsense. I care about the future and the environment and space exploration and self-improvement just as much as silly internet memes and what my favorite sports team is up to. Maybe I'm just easily distracted.
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday's a work night for me. I'm more of a dayman anyway.
You should message me if
if you think we'd have a good rapport and get along together. I'm not saying there doesn't need to be some unmistakable spark between us the moment we view each other's profile, or something like that, but just like genius getting to know someone is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. And if there's one thing I do well, it's sweat! (just kidding)
