My self-summary
Still looking for you...

I currently work as a complaints investigator in a government service, which is more interesting than it sounds.
What I’m doing with my life
In one morning I took over and dealt with an escalated (shouting) phone call, and had to take a call from a threatening suicide.
The trick was, to get them both relaxed and laughing by the end of the call.
I’m really good at
Music was my first love. (-Hey, good idea for a lyric!)
I've played guitar since I was 15, and like to compose and record my own music, when I have the time.

I've had my first two books published (one non-fiction, one fiction).
I'm getting notes together for the next about the birth of life and the development of civilisation on this planet.
But I intend to take a wacky look at it, and try to get humour into everything. It might end up as a novel.
I use this as an excuse to walk the hills and travel to far away places. - It's research, darling, honest!

And lastly, I'm looking for the secret of existence, and the universe. And I _will_ find it.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
"A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson
"Cosmos" and "The Demon Haunted World" by Carl Sagan.
Anything by Terry Pratchett and Robert Heinlein.
Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Vaughan Williams, Liquid Tension Experiment, Good Rock, Prog Metal.
The Abyss, Contact, Lucy, others too numerous to mention.
The six things I could never do without
Walking in the world
Time to create
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- What am I looking for in a woman?

Curiosity, daring, non-conformism, intellectual stimulation.
(We don't need to mention the rest do we;-)
I need someone who will explore a castle with me, walk hand-in-hand through the countryside, discuss the shape of the universe, get excited at Christmas crackers, cuddle up in the evening and pretend no-one else exists in the world except us two.

I am not looking for:
A soap-watcher, a boozer, a time-waster, a flirt.

I'm just looking for my equal, my soul-mate, my destiny.
(-I can't believe I just wrote that.)
I hope you haven't been put off -
Write anyway..... Seriously, everyone needs mates!
You should message me if
Please, if you're going to contact me then write me a proper note, not just "Hello", or "Hi there."
And if you really want to get my attention then answer this question:
If all forms of love - romantic, parental, altruistic - come from a common source (as Shakespeare maintained) then what could that source possibly be?
