My self-summary
Ever-balancing enjoyment with responsibility, I recently spend a lot of free time dabbling in creative pursuits or exploring nature. Living in the Mission also means it's easy for me to seek out sumptuous food. But really I live in this neighborhood to experience its vibrant blend of cultures and peoples.
What I’m doing with my life
Pursuing happiness
I’m really good at
mouth-eye coordination (my track record of successfully catching goldfish—the cracker—on my tongue is pretty strong). Also, really good at eye contact.
The first things people usually notice about me
changes depending on the circumstance. I'm very loud when I'm drunk, for example. But if I'm at work, it's probably my handshake.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I usually prefer fiction to nonfiction. Reading is the best escape. My own imagination will always trump a Hollywood adaptation.

Movies: Highly-rated comedies are so rare but my favorite to go see. Definitely a fan of foreign films too (especially those in Spanish, which I adore practicing). I watch a lot more than those genres, but it's hard to keep this field up to date!! If only I could connect my Netflix account so you could just see what I've watched recently and whether I liked it...

Shows: I love Shark Tank and Modern Family. Best all-time shows include Sopranos, Arrested Development, and Firefly. Currently watching through The Americans, which I'm thoroughly enjoying.

Music: Pandora One keeps me entertained and the stations I've set up are diverse. Big Pun to Rodrigo y Gabriela, Hall & Oates to Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Black Keys are my jam, with Alabama Shakes on their heels. Recently fell for Drake and for Amy Winehouse.

Food: I like most. Adventurous eating is fun. My comfort foods include Italian, Thai, and Southern US. Peruvian is excellent. The only cuisine I've particularly struggled with is Ethiopian.
The six things I could never do without
Friends, family, food, conversation, massages, sunshine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next meal
On a typical Friday night I am
Laughing with coworkers, washing away the stress of the week with a few beers before watching Netflix with roommates over takeout.
You should message me if
If you want to! Always interested to see who finds me interesting.

If you have food suggestions for me.

If you speak Spanish: ¡que me hables porfa! Nunca tengo la oportunidad de practicar tu linda lengua. Si sos latina, cierto que me muero.
