My self-summary
I just moved to Miami for a job after spending pretty much all of my adult life in San Francisco. Yes, I have reusable grocery bags and struggle when there's no recycling or compost bins. Yes, SF has rainbow sidewalks, and it's pretty awesome. No, I don't own chaps, nor do I run around naked in public. We made that illegal anyway. Most of the time.

Anyway, I spend a lot of my time kiteboarding and traveling around the world, and I've come to appreciate the variety those adventures have added to my life, including some great British rock music on my iPhone and some Cote d'Or chocolate in my kitchen. You'll also find everything from a tux to a wetsuit in my closet. (Seriously, about ~1/2 my closet contains Arctic expedition gear.)

However, not everything has to be a grand adventure. I try to make the most from every day, even if it's just finding a great movie to watch or finding something to smile about. For example, I'm an amazing singer. In the shower. At the top of my lungs. My speciality lately is Lonely Town by Brandon Flowers. Fortunately my neighbors are nice enough not to file a noise complaint.

By the way--that other guy who wrote you? I saw him on the FBI's top 10 list.
What I’m doing with my life
Carpe diem! I mainly work as a product manager now.

Beyond work, I try to make the most from every day, even if it's just finding a way to brighten someone else's day. I also workout most days of the week so that I can be great at opening jars.

I also doubled in a short film for a guy who doubles for Tom Cruise. But I promise I'm not crazy and don't jump on couches on national TV. Instead, I lean seductively on them.
I’m really good at
Working with cameras and opening jars.
The first things people usually notice about me
My stunningly-good looks. Immediately followed by my dry sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I read a ton and mainly care about a good story (this is true for all mediums). I tend to prefer fiction, but non-fiction done well (and not just a dry set of facts) will hold my attention. I like everything from John Irving (not his recent stuff) to George Martin (although I do have trouble keeping some of the characters straight after 5 books--the TV show did make it easier to tell Tywin from Tyrion).

Movies: Moonrise Kingdom, Being Elmo, Toy Story 3, Inglorious Basterds, Ratatouille, Up, Mary and Max, City of God, Gattaca, Ghostbusters, and random other dramas and comedies. I love cinema.

Music: The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, upbeat alt rock (think Fun. and Capital Cities), Beatles, Mamas and the Papas, etc.. And don't think I'm forgetting Bach, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, and friends.

Food: Mediterranean, Mexican, Thai, French, and Indian are all towards the top.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, the universe, and everything. And how San Francisco has too much of the Peter Pan syndrome going on.
On a typical Friday night I am
"[doing] the same thing we do every night, Pinky—[trying] to take over the world!"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a giant Emile plush toy (the fat rat from Ratatouille) on my couch. I bought him because he was the most on-model toy from the movie. He used to be in my office at work and people would come in to just give him a hug and say "hi." He's also wearing a party hat.
You should message me if
