I am in the healthcare profession and into leading a physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy life. Curious about why things are the way they are, definitely an abstract thinker. What I’m doing with my life
I work in physical therapy and enjoy my job at an outpatient clinic here in Tucson. Enjoy staying physically fit and mentally/spiritually centered; into using Yoga, Qi Gong, and meditation for physical, spiritual, and emotional wellness. Love to read, particularly about spirituality, personal growth, politics (I know, but hey what can I say), and economics; Beginning to find the time again to read for fun and curiosity, at last.....Enjoying living in Tucson.
I’m really good at
physical coordination of my body; comfortable with athletics and body movement arts. I feel best when I am moving in conscious, intentional ways; like Yoga or swimming. Love to spend time outside playing, enjoying the sun. I think I have become a good listener and am fairly patient thanks to some of my mindful practices.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Mary Oliver's poetry, any David Sedaris, books on yoga and buddhism like no death, no fear by Thich Nhat Hahn, Michael Lewis' Boomerang, Malcolm Gladwells' Tipping Point.
Movies - Prefer indie films, humanistic stories; though once in a while hollywood still comes out with an entertaining flick!
Shows - Like live theater, musicals, live music! Love Hotel Congress, the Fox and Rialto theaters.
Music - Good music! Everything from classic rock, classical, R & B, Alt Rock, bluegrass, the blues! Good music is good music, regardless of the genre. Love the "All Songs Considered" Podcast from NPR.
Food - Like to try new types of food. Love Sushi, Thai, Italian. Prefer fresh, whole foods, lots of veggies, made with love.

The Buddhist teachings of impermanence, no-self, and nirvana.
The U.S. economy and the increasing wealth and power of the oligarchy in this country, not to mention to widening gap between the wealthy and everyone else. Beginning to wake up to the fact that we live in a plutocracy.

Used to work a lot of Friday nights, but with my new job I will have weekends off. So more fun is in order I think.
