My self-summary
I've been in Newport (I moved, I live in Costa Mesa now, thank the heavenly father! eff newport frrrreal ) for a few years now. Prior to that I have lived all over the place (Philadelphia, Shanghai, Bay Area-where I grew up, Colorado).

I like this Susan Sontag quote: 'I don’t care about someone being intelligent; any situation between people, when they are really human with each other, produces “intelligence.”' Basically what I mean by this is I'm willing to date someone I don't consider super intelligent as long as they are attractive enough.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a careerish type job in Irvine. I'm not very ambitious/career oriented but there are no typos in my resume and I own a few suits. I went to a fancy business school where I learned to impress people by responding to all questions by talking about past achievements and things I own.

Prior to B school I lived in Shanghai for four years because I could afford to take taxis everywhere. Rates have gone up since then though so don't be tempted to move for that reason. You missed your chance. I hear Medellin is nice.
I’m really good at
coasting
The first things people usually notice about me

I have a twitter addiction that flares up when I'm procrastinating

"You can come as you are but pay as you go" -- L. Anderson

Some Bands I like:  Tirzah, Future Islands, Phedre, Perfume Genius, Glass Candy, Beach House, Moderat, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Junior Boys, Aphex Twin, Phoria, Majical Cloudz. I also like dark minimalist techno stuff: Blawan, Karenn, Terrence Fixmer, Rodhad, Planetary Assault Systems, Rrose, Yan Cook, Paula Temple, etc.  I like music. I like going to shows and I like dancing. I also make weird music with synthesizers and drum machines.
The six things I could never do without
I'm going to use this section to talk about six sayings/words I'm AGAINST:

1. Who does that?
2. That....though.
3. work hard play hard
4. literally (when used to mean figuratively)
5. I'm not gonna lie...
6. just saying
hmmm. I'll think of a couple more but other things I'm against -- the war on drugs (not the band, good band(would be capitalized in that case)), and .... boot cut jeans. Down with boot cut jeans!

I better think of 6 things I'm FOR to even out my platform!
1. Free Trade: Yay! Free Trade!
2. Music
3. Dancing for all including the elderly and supportive/non judgmental environments where even the rhythmically challenged can express themselves through movement.
4. Snappy dressing
5. Sweats on Sundays
6. Mornings
On a typical Friday night I am
