My self-summary
So, a bit about me... I'm looking to branch out, meet new people, and, hopefully, find someone that I really connect with. I'm kind of a nerdy guy, and I have a ton of fun with that side of myself, so it's not changing anytime soon. I'm not one of those socially inept nerds that you can't take anywhere; it's just that I'm into gaming, anime, comics, sci-fi, etc, and that is how I often choose to spend my free time. If you absolutely can't abide that sort of thing in a person, I'm probably not the guy for you.

One of the things in life that I get the most enjoyment out of is getting to know what makes people tick. It's so exhilarating. Each person that I get to know feels like an adventure to me. Something about sharing the details of one's life with another and getting to know the different facets of them... it's fascinating. I love learning what makes people tick. Anytime you want to talk, I'm more than happy to oblige.

I'm a kind-hearted guy who tries to see the best in people without blinding himself to reality. You'll find that I am patient and understanding individual. I've learned that life is far too short not be forgiving toward others, so I do my best not to sweat the small stuff. I don't play games and I am honest to a fault. I refuse to waste my time or yours by allowing myself to be dishonest.

I've got a good sense of humor. I'm fairly quick witted, I and try to laugh at life and myself whenever I get a chance, so you could say that I'm a bit of a joker.

Creativity amazes me. Have you ever noticed how, if you only take a moment to look for it, that there is art absolutely everywhere? Paintings, sculptures, music, architecture, nature and so much more is all around us all of the. time. I've been a bit of an artist for as long as I can remember, but it'll be a while before I'm good enough to capture the beauty that is so ever-present that it is easy for people to take for granted.

I'm an avid fan of music and movies. My tastes in both cut across a wide swath of genres. As a result, I'm pretty good at trivia on both (TV as well). I don't get out to the theaters or to see live music as often as I'd like though. In the past year, I've found out that I love concerts and live music, so I'm usually up for a show.

I have to admit that I'm not the biggest sports fan in the world. I'm not too savvy when it comes to the intricate rules or history of most sports, because there aren't any that I really follow. Still, I do enjoy going to the occasional game, if only to hang out with friends, people-watch and listen to the music.

The most attractive aspects of a woman are her mind and her heart. I want a woman who is intelligent-- someone who enjoys and can hold her own in conversation. A sharp wit and a good sense of humor are really attractive features. After all, who doesn't like good laugh? I'm looking for someone who is open, honest, and caring. I really enjoy people who are passionate about something as well as those who have their own way of looking at the world. Also, if you're into nerdy stuff like me, it's a big plus.

With me, you will get a guy who is open, honest, and caring. I will always do my best to do right by you.
What I’m doing with my life
Lately, I've been getting back into drawing. When I was in school, I had to cut back on it because there simply wasn't enough time. I'm still shaking some of my rust off, but it is fun to experiment with new techniques and media. I'm really enjoying learning how to digitally ink and color my drawings.

Outside of that, I've been spending time with my friends and enjoying my own nerdy endeavors (comic books, anime, video games-- you know, archetypal nerd stuff).
I’m really good at
All sorts of stuff, but here's a short list off of the top of my head:

drawing, singing (probably off-key, but, who cares? It's more fun that way!) in the car with the stereo up, listening, deep conversation, reading people, trivia, laughing at life and myself (I try not to take anything too seriously), quipping, gaming, remembering things, grammar, spelling, being supportive...

There's more that I am good at (I'm kind of a jack of all trades type), but tooting my own horn isn't really one of them, so I'll leave the list at that.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What happened to Special Agent Dale Cooper after the end of Twin Peaks (20 years later, and they still haven't resolved the cliffhanger- get to work David Lynch!).
