My self-summary
I (try to) live my life by 3 ideas that I find very important:
-Manners are important; be respectful.
-Be your true self.
-Life is too short to take it too seriously.

That being said, I'd like to think I've got myself a pretty level head, a pretty slick sense of humor, and an awareness of what I value and what I'm looking for in life, love, and beer. I love all things/people witty and clever.

I joke around 95% of the time, but I'm serious when I need to be, you dumb skanks.

I do enjoy most outdoor activities (swimming, hiking, showshoeing, volleyball, tennis, etc.) but I've got a pretty hefty nerdy side as well. Video games, board/card games (the more complex, the better), word puzzles, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
I've got a pretty satisfying career working as an evaluator in state government (if that's not the sexiest thing you've ever heard, you've got a problem).
I’m really good at
Getting your mom to love me. Clever banter. And drinking IPAs. (possibly all at once)
The first things people usually notice about me
My big toe.

Or my eyes. Just wanted to throw something different out there.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TV: Always Sunny, House of Cards, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Game of Thrones, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Will & Grace.

Music: Robyn, Dragonette, Marina and the Diamonds, Sylvan Esso, Santigold, White Sea, Tove Styrke, Purity Ring, Of Verona, St. Vincent, iamamiwhoami, Niki and the Dove, highasakite, Beth Jeans Houghton

I think my favorite song of all time is Number 1 by Goldfrapp.

Books: Freedom (by Jonathan Franzen); Middlesex (Eugenides); Bossypants (Fey); The Alchemist (Coehlo); Cosmos (Sagan); Five Quarters of the Orange (Harris); Sabriel (Nix); Guns, Germs, and Steel (Diamond); The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (Murakami).

I'm morally opposed to tomatoes, olives, and mushrooms. Otherwise, I'll eat almost anything. I also love a good microbrew (the hoppier, the better)
The six things I could never do without
Board Games
A good book/newspaper
A clever and witty sense of humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Chips and salsa.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a very intense and simultaneous fascination and fear of outer space.
