My self-summary
30 year old in Gainesville, FL for the time being. I've been heavily career focused, and got out of a long term relationship not long ago. I would love to meet new and interesting people, as I am finding Gainesville a little boring lately.

I've been in Gainesville for a couple years after moving away for a while (I grew up in Gainesville; came back and said I'd be here about 6 months, but it turned into more than that...time really flies). I am an FSU graduate so I'm a big Seminole fan, never really was much into the gators, sorry :(

I am an introverted person, usually prefer to be around a small group of friends, but I am pretty open minded about meeting new people and trying new things.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a bank manager. I graduated college way back in 2007, and I keep telling myself I'm going to go back to school. I'm hoping that happens in the next year or so.

In the meantime, I'm collecting some awesome experience at my job where I feel rewarded every day. I just don't know if this is where I want to be forever, so I am looking for long term career opportunities (would definitely consider moving almost anywhere if the right thing came up)
I’m really good at
I don't know, a lot of things...

I'm good at my job and I'm good at dealing with people in my professional life. People are my passion, and I love what I do.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Really a big mix of everything here, but here's some that I like of each:

Music: Guns 'n Roses, Velvet Underground, Black Sabbath, Gang Starr, Wu-Tang, Frank Zappa, Outkast, A Tribe Called Quest, Led Zeppelin, The Stooges, The Beatles, Prince, Aesop Rock, etc.

Books: I don't read anywhere near as much as I should but love anything from John Steinbeck or Kurt Vonnegut (probably the two I've read the most of). Also, Catch 22, The Catcher in the Rye, 1984, In Cold Blood, etc.

Movies: Don't watch too many movies (I lack the attention span for a lot of it), but my favorite movies are mostly comedy: The Big Lebowski, Dumb and Dumber, Stepbrothers, Superbad, etc. Anything that makes me laugh really.

TV Shows: Again, mostly comedy, here goes: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Simpsons, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, The Walking Dead, Workaholics, Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc.

Food: Almost anything, but my favorites are pizza, sushi, fresh seafood...for now I'm sticking with those.
The six things I could never do without
My Cat, she is awesome
Florida State Football
Anything that makes me laugh; that's the greatest feeling in the world
My team members who I have the honor to manage (They are a great group and give a lot of meaning to what I do day in and day out)
A home cooked meal semi-regularly (I don't cook as often as I'd like though)
My family and my nephew who is going to be awesome (I was always the youngest in my family, so this is an all new experience for me).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
All kinds of things. I am highly analytical, and sometimes I overthink things.

What is the meaning of it all? What am I doing with my life and where am I going to be in five years? What do I feel like eating today (I spend far too much time thinking about this)?
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes going out with friends; sometimes staying in. I don't really like huge crowds, so clubs aren't really my thing. I like to go to bars or parties on occasion, but more often than not relaxing with friends or family.
You should message me if
You're open minded and not looking for someone shallow, conceited, arrogant, etc.
