My self-summary
I used to be that kid whose friends poked fun of for carrying reference books all the time and boring them to death with useless information. OK, I'm still kinda that kid.

I have visited several states and lived in four: Georgia, Alabama, Pennsylvania and, the darling of them all, Massachusetts.

A guy who sings, always, pretending to know the lyrics to songs he's heard about a million times.

A clumsy guy who spills things, especially coffee, on everything. So much in fact, my family has a nickname for me.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a journalist who covers Salem, Marblehead and Swampscott.
I’m really good at
Making the most of what I've got. Conversation, I could talk for a long time. Enjoying the company of others. Being extroverted introvert.
The first things people usually notice about me
My incredibly luscious lips.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Authors: Donna Tartt, (woman can write her arse off. Her third novel, "The Goldfinch," is my favorite, and I have a lot of love for her first, "The Secret History"), Harper Lee, Cormac McCarthy, David Sedaris, James Baldwin, Allen Ginsberg, J. D. Salinger, Charles Dickens, Lois Lowry, Oscar Wilde and J.K Rowling. Over time I've realized, I have an affinity for books about outsiders and orphans.

There Will Be Blood, My Own Private Idaho, The Tree of Life, What's Eating Gilbert Grape... This list could go on, but if I had to pick one, East of Eden would prolly be my favorite. I'm killer at picking Oscar winners, too, before the big night every year: last year, I got 20 out of 24 right.

The Office, do you like beets?Breaking Bad, Malcolm in the Middle, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, The West Wing, Masterpiece Theater - love, love Supernatural.

Music is a constant in my life, not saying I play either an instrument or can sing a tune - just can't stop listening to it. Staples that never get old: Lauryn Hill, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, Sara Vaughan, Cold War Kids, Fleetwood Mac, Radiohead, James Blake, Arctic Monkeys, James Taylor/Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Amy Winehouse, Andrew Bird and Adele.
Six things I could never do without
1. Family
2. Friends
3. Public Radio
4. Coffee
5. Music
6. Sarcasm
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Change. Deadlines, always.
On a typical Friday night I am
It all depends on what's going on. Board games, movie night, dinner party, getting my jive on, one to ones. It's always different.
You should message me if
If you're here to find new friends, too.
