My self-summary
I've deployed again, to Afghanistan this time. How many times can you deploy and return unscathed, I don't know, I guess we'll find out. I do know I just want to have as much fun as possible before I leave. I'd also be happy exchanging pictures and chatting with someone while I'm there. Something that will get my mind off of things while I'm there. I got back from my last deployment to Iraq in August and have been enjoying my new unmarried life since then. I've recently set up my music room and started playing the guitars and drums again after about a 10 year break. I'm trying to get some stuff written so that I can start recording since I already have every thing that I need to do that. On that note, I'm also toying with learning the piano, since I never have and I have a keyboard now.
What I’m doing with my life
Getting through another deployment in the worst part of Afghanistan, there's nothing fun or uplifting to speak of, so I'll leave it at that. After this I'm going to start completing a degree in International Studies. Since I have everything required to earn an AA in Arabic, it lends itself to the Int Studies degree.
I’m really good at
A whole lot of weird stuff, I can't say really. Some have said that I have a gift of giving orgasms to others. But I don't know if it's a gift, I think it was just hard work, long hours of study and determination.
The first things people usually notice about me
Honestly, I don't know. I don't ever remember asking people what they noticed first. To guess I'd probably say, that I work hard. You can tell me when you send me a message or when we meet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Sons of Anarchy and Californication are my favorite shows on TV right now. Dexter, Justified, House, Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad, the list goes on. I like a lot of movies, but don't seen to be watching nearly as many as I'd like to lately.

Books, well for the last several years almost all of my reading has been about war and counter-insurgency. However I learned that every book about Afghanistan, including fiction (Kite Runner) is absolutely depressing. So I started reading a lot of Fiction NOT related to Afghanistan lately. The Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire books are great. I love Bukowski novels and poetry. I'm finishing up two of reading the five Dexter books by Jeff Lindsay and I'm not sure what I'm starting on next.
Six things I could never do without
My boat and home is a start. I suppose if the world was completely without women, there wouldn't be much of a reason to continue. I mean what would be the point? I'm not saying that I can't be without a woman. I live for fishing and going to the mountains and just having a good time in general.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm alone in Afghanistan and I'm single, seriously? You tell me what I'm thinking about. That and whether or not I really want to stay in the Army.
On a typical Friday night I am
A typical Friday night consists of either trying not to get shot or watching a TV show that I've saved on my hard drive in my room. Reading is a big part of my time here in Afghanistan as well. I've lost track of how many books I've read since I've been here.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't know, ask and find out.
You should message me if
You want to have fun.
