My self-summary
You know those previews for movies in which the lead character leaves their life behind and is put into a new location? If your answer is yes, then that's me. After spending all of my life on the west coast, I decided to pack up my life and venture to the great Republic of Texas for a grand adventure.

The question is, are you interested in being my partner in crime?

I'm just your average guy, well adjusted with a solid relationship with my family and a few close friends. Like most guys, I love sports and am a die hard football and hockey fan. I am a Patriots fan, which probably makes me guilty of sports treason here.

I am a great cook….seriously I have testimonials. If you still don't believe me, I'll prove it.

Besides watching sports, I love to go to theme parks and museums, watch my friends in their theater or improv shows, travel when I can swing a big trip, but I'm always up for a road trip.

I am looking for someone who wants to enjoy life's adventures. I want someone who's smart, fun, playful, sweet, and loyal. I also want someone who can compliment me as well as challenge me.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for a large telecom company doing internal communications, which means I write newsletters and stuff for our sales people. It is a great place to work and I feel at home there.
I’m really good at
Barbecuing a mean tri-tip, and I probably could enter it into a contest. Spouting random facts about pop culture (trivia nights at a bar would be ours), and above all I pride myself on being a loyal friend, ready to help when I can.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I get mistaken for Chris Pratt…only kidding or am I? I really wish I had a good answer to this question, though I've been told I have great eyelashes and calves (there's a funny story about how I found this out)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: Star Wars, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Gone With the Wind, Swingers, Go, The Sandlot, Dazed and Confused, Grosse Pointe Blank

Music: Garbage, Social Distortion, No Doubt, Save Ferris are still my top, but I'm pretty diverse in my playlist but lately have been adding country artists like Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, and Miranda Lambert into the mix.

Shows: Friday Night Lights, Big Bang Theory, Archer, The Goldbergs

Food: I love to try different foods and new restaurants. Though, if there's ever a study that says biscuits, bacon and barbecue are good for you, I'll be on that diet!
The six things I could never do without
Iced Tea (I drink it like water)

Friends & Family

Patriots football & Ducks hockey

A quality skillet or grill pan

My SUV, Gronk
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future, along with my friends and family.

Will all my teams win championships this year?

What recipe I should try next?

Or how "Boy Meets World" should have been modeled after my life?
On a typical Friday night I am
Is there such a thing as a typical Friday night? Since I'm new to the area, this goes out the window and like the beer commercial says, I am definitely up for whatever!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I went to see Britney Spears the last time I was in Vegas.
You should message me if
You want a good man. Plain and simple. We may not be the shiniest car on the lot, but we do run a long, long time. If you thought any of that I may be funny or really nice, go ahead and send me a message. You should also message me if you want a guy who's unafraid of commitment, reliable and someone you can take home to Mom.

If you want to help me explore the DFW area.

Lastly, if you have an awesomely bad online dating story, I'm sure we could see who's had a worse adventure.

Don't worry, if we hit it off I will stand by the claim that we met at a friend's engagement party.
