My self-summary
Big heart. Big brain. Big soul.
Activist. Writer. Healer.
Lover. Traveler.
Embraces dark in holding light.

Currently exploring how we can transform social resistance into a non-resisted state of being in justice, freedom and love.

It is important to me to be in community with people of color and people of all ages. I enjoy being in relationship with queers who are passionate and complex, who balance radical politics with a deep spirituality. Which is not to say that I don't have some pretty amazing relationships with folks who are atheists or who aren't active politically, because I do. General awesomeness, emotional maturity, an ability to confront your privilege or work on your shit whatever it is, a passion for learning, an orientation towards healing and doing no harm, a sense of humor and fun actually can be found all over the place :)

Someone from Portland recently asked me what I'm looking for when I responded that I don't have time for new penpals.. I am looking for dates. I am looking for folks to connect with locally to share food and drink, go on bike rides with, enjoy the outdoors, maybe share meditation or yoga practice, or our experiences with social and environmental justice movement building or other things that we are passionate about. I spent 6 of the last 8 years out of the country in areas where queers were underground, and keeping up with connections I made while living abroad (and my sister and nephew in Boston and other bio fam) is the extent of what I have capacity for nonlocally. I am craving physical presence, particularly with awesome folks I connect with, can cuddle with, be raw with, build community with, go on adventures with, make out with.

I am polyamorous. My experience of poly, perhaps like yours, is unique and evolving. I do well with intense folks who have multiple outlets for their intensity and have a lot of insight into their own experiences; and folks with a big loving spirit who know how to have fun. I will be happy for a partnership to develop over time. I look forward to eventually raising babies in a radical loving community, just saying, you don't need to be wanting this too for us to have fun dating.
