My self-summary
Just some guy in Pensacola. I'm educated, independent, and a bit of a nerd. I'm fairly open-minded, but my politics and beliefs tend to be way left.

Don't want to come off as arrogant. I just don't know how to talk about myself. I'm a nice guy. Say hi.

I'm not a Southerner, redneck or country in any way. I don't mind people who are, but I detest people who think those labels let you be trash. On the other hand, ask me my opinion of hipsters.
What I’m doing with my life
Just bought my first house, so I'm settling into that. Anyone want to come keep me company?

Working in a professional career, saving up money, meeting new people, just getting on.

Or I might say "fuck it all" and move to Thailand or Costa Rica for a few years.
I’m really good at
Working. Cooking. Conversation. Being an encyclopedia of useless facts. The rest you'll have to find out for yourself.
The first things people usually notice about me
I prefer to not be noticed.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Anything by James Joyce (Nope. Haven't gotten through "Finnegan's Wake" yet), Nabokov, Pynchon, Annie Proulx, Toni Morrison, Cormac McCarthy. I also read a good share of how-to books, some poetry, some biography, and assorted nonfiction.

Movies: I'm a bit of a movie geek and like everything from horror to drama and independent films. Not too big into action movies, though.

Food: I'll eat anything that doesn't kill me first. When I watch that show "Bizarre Foods," I'm usually thinking, "I'd eat that."
The six things I could never do without
"Craft beer"
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The same thing we did last night, Pinky. Trying to take over the Earth.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working late.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Whatever. Just ask.

Just took a Myers-Briggs thing test on March 30, 2014. Said I'm an INJT. You be the judge. I never put much faith in psychology.
You should message me if
You want to.
