My self-summary
My name is Jason Maele. I like playing video games, work on computers, read several random articles on Wikipedia daily and taking walks in the morning.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently employed as an IT Assistant at a company my Dad works for. I just "celebrated" my three year anniversary working there. I started as a security guard, then moved to janitor/security/yardwork and now I am a full-time IT Geek.

I am a geek for everything Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate and many other current/old TV shows. My favorite TV show of all time is MASH.

I like smart people, or at least 'thoughtful' people. People that are conscientious, somewhat sensitive, and that are independent (in most areas, not all). That's about as much as I can say right now. I also like wild people as long as they know when to calm down and be serious.

I consider myself (as do others) as a different type of person. Not like "all other guys." I'm sensitive, caring, thoughtful, etc.
I’m really good at
Video Games
Critically thinking
The first things people usually notice about me
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: HP Lovecraft: The Complete Fiction, any book written about/by George Carlin (comedian), Fables comics.

Movies: Star Trek (all of them), Star Wars (all of them). Clerks 1 and 2, Mallrats, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Good Will Hunting.

Shows: Family Guy, The Simpsons, MASH, Breaking Bad, Rescue Me, How I Met Your Mother, Roseanne, Becker.

Music: lately I've been listening to: Apocalyptica, Don Henley, Jim Croce, The Eagles, Pink, Batman Movie soundtracks/Hans Zimmer.

Food: I'm still a picky eater and knowing my family and how they stick to what they do and don't let people push them around I'm always gonna be a picky eater. But to specific: pizza, salad, chicken salads (from Chipotle), subs (with only bacon or just veggies), boneless wings, pasta (without spaghetti sauce).
Six things I could never do without
George Carlin
I spend a lot of time thinking about
To be completely honest, I think a lot about everything. I am a very nostalgic person, sometimes I focus too much on the past instead of the future. I love memories, I love endorphin releases, I think about myself, how I view my friends, I wonder what they think of me. Just everything in and out all the time (unless I'm working).
On a typical Friday night I am
I am hanging out with my good friend Scott at his house, smoking a cigar (sometimes), drinking whiskey or a good strong stout and talking about my week. :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
For the first time in a long time. I am very happy with lots of things going on. I love my job, I love the friends that I have, I love myself. But sometimes, especially at night I want to have someone else to talk to, someone new, someone that wants to get to know me without me having to be the one to text/call them.
You should message me if
You like what you see above this essay box and you want to get to know me. If you like to know why I like the things I like, if you're an open-minded/liberal person but can think independently. Also, if you're an indoorsy person that likes to talk on the phone or have casual conversations about things we are both passionate about.
