My self-summary
…Maybe we have met for a coffee somewhere and now I don‘t remember you, or maybe we had a good time together but you decided to move on because you’re not looking for a relationship, though you said you were!... Well, that was a possibility if you lived in Atlanta or St. Paul, MN, for the past 7 years, but I guess that's not your case. The thing is I am moving to Nashville in July, need to make friends and a place to stay (looking to rent something on a teachers' budget)..., I am trying to be honest here. Anyway, I guess you clicked on my ad for a reason. Now I’m going to satisfy your curiosity. I’m a young guy looking for a meaningful relationship, not right-away sex. That will come later… I’m in my mid-thirties, 5,8, 30w., 145lbs., white Hispanic guy (I don’t like the concept “latino”, it’s misleading! I’m not into stereotypes or labels of any kind neither do I allow anyone to “categorize” me as if I were an animal in a lab cage). I’m from… somewhere on a map (that’s for you to guess); currently attending grad schoo, so my schedule is pretty busy (sorry for that!). I’m also a Spanish teacher. What am I looking for? I’m looking for a guy to share great and unforgettable moments with, I want to meet a cool dude to go to a classical concert, a play at a theater, or just having a nice dinner together among candles and glasses of wine (Cabernet Sauvignon preferably). I’m looking for a guy I can look at in the morning or with whom I could share a night under the stars. I’ve been saving tons of love for someone special, but I can share with you more than that... In addition to starry nights and love, I can share with you-as a precious gift-a good sense of humor, my acute intelligence, or my passion for classical music (Mozart, always Mozart!…), poetry, and short stories (I write in Spanish, so you don’t understand now, huh?… That's because you were not paying attention in class or just thought was not important; no worries, I can teach you as long as you are committed to it). I’m looking for more… I want to meet a guy with a political and social commitment to change the world we live in. I’m looking for a guy that goes beyond stereotypes… Who is eager to learn my native language because I don’t want to speak English all the time when having breakfast or when in bed, masculine, average (not into “bears”/overweight guys, sorry not my taste!), intelligent, caring, and (LOL!) not too tall! I have a personal taste specially for gingers and sky-blue eyes, but there’s no need for you to be like that in order for you to contact me. If I like you it doesn’t matter to me if you look at me with your hazel or brown eyes as long as you look at me with passion (hope that does not sound cheesy!!). Am I asking for too much?… I do not know the answer to that question. I just know that if I sound nice to you, if it sounds to you that I am what you have been looking for… then don’t hesitate to send me an email! Hope to talk to you in the near future!
PS - I don’t care about you being a “poz” guy (by the way, you have a right to love and being loved!), I‘m negative but open to most experiences. Oops! Something else: Please, reply with a pic and make sure you look a bit like what I am looking for, don‘t make me waste my time…
What I’m doing with my life
At this time of my life, writing and pursuing a graduate degree in Spanish.
I’m really good at
Huh, kissing (lol), but honestly, languages and teaching, teaching is a rewarding experience as long as one is commited to change someone else's life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I guess my intelligence, I can't stand dumb people... not that I'm a genius, don't get me wrong please.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
So far my favorite book is "La llama doble: On love and Eroticism", by the Mexican writer Octavio Paz; "Don Quijote", by Miguel de Cervantes; not a big fan of movies, but "Death in Venice", by Luchino Visconti is great, and regarding music: Mozart, always Mozart, and Tchaikovsky, mostly into Classical music and lounge.
The six things I could never do without
A book, ex., a dictionary, paper, writing utensils, wine, walking at the beach at night, and a great French dinner.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I'm gonna write about next...
On a typical Friday night I am
At home reading...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That's for you to discover...
You should message me if
If you like what you read...
