Off the clock, I get up to all sorts of nonsense. Practicing my imagination, playing on the internet, reveling with friends, threading needles, waiting at stoplights.
I'm very good at going through airport security. I have the process down to an efficient art.
Walking in heels.
As for books, I like to read the classics. I like having a strong base in the canon. (Did I just say that?) I also like light easy reads that you can finish in 3 hours too. For instance, I just read all of the Hunger Games books and (I hate to admit) all of Lauren Conrad's LA Candy books. I'm currently reading Etiquette by Emily Post. I figured it was time to read the rule book of civility. I'm also listening to East Of Eden on tape. Summer weather always gets me in the mood for American classics.
I like most movies. I love weird, old culty movies. But I like to keep up with pop culture too, so I'll almost always see what's out now. I could quote along with Annie Hall, Grease, and Mean Girls.
I think TV is lots of fun. It's great to go home after a hard day and space out to some brain candy. I've seen every episode of both Seinfeld and The Hills. I don't expect someone I date to also watch the crap television I love. I currently don't have a tv so that kind of takes care of that.
My musical taste really depends on my mood. Opera, screamo, classic rock, foreign rap, pop, and musical soundtracks all have a safe home in my itunes library. Recently I've been jumping between Wilderness by Middle Brother and Hardcore Girls by Rye Rye.
I love food. I will always try everything once. And typically several times after that. I have a hard time saying no to pulled pork or pepperoni pizza. I love Indian food and Ethiopian food, but I will try anything. Seriously. Anything.
