My self-summary
Im a sapiosexual. I can also clap really loudly. Those two qualities are not necessarily interrelated.
What I’m doing with my life
When I'm playing the role of sensible professional, I work in human rights. It's pretty important to me to use my career and invest a lot of my energy in work I find meaningful.

I think working in a difficult area keeps me pretty grounded and puts things in perspective. I'm not prone to being a drama queen! :-)

I'm also a very social creature - spend a lot of time with good friends. I like keeping busy - I don't lead much of a sedentary lifestyle, unless I've socialised too hard and it becomes necessary!
I’m really good at
Forgetting names. Taking forever to fill in these homework-style essay things. Baking crap cakes. Napping. Cooking a selection of savoury things well. Bruising myself. Looking awkward in yoga. Helping people write job applications (hot skill, huh?! 😉). Making people laugh. Dancing to techno. Drinking coffee. Remembering to pack the right things when I go away. Remembering dates like birthdays etc and phone numbers. Taking the piss out of myself. And others. Swearing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've successfully eradicated the mullet I had in year 5.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music is much more important to me than movies or TV shows - I watch very little. Love a wide range of music - I'm heavily into electronic music and most of my musical taste errs on the side of being contemporary.

I'm also a pretty avid fan of a selection of podcasts... Really enjoy Revisionist History and Invisibilia, for example.

Maybe one example of each is a decent starting point:

Book: The Jesus Man - Christos Tsiolkas.
Food: Mexican? And good quality pizza...!

My TV and movie examples were embarrassingly outdated, so I'm just gonna skip those! Loved Breaking Bad and Requiem for a Dream if that helps.
Six things I could never do without
Thought provoking questions such as this that make me ponder whether it's even worth answering.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why isn't there a way to freeze time? Seriously. Or pause it - just for a while, sometimes. Maybe I need to spend more time at tedious social events or in protracted meetings... Time seems to go slower then. Wicked sadist, time is...
On a typical Friday night I am
Working late, curled up in a foetal position crying in the corner, driving interstate for the w/end, spending time with the child I am partially responsible for, heading out, socialising with friends, occasionally having a quiet one. But not all at once. I couldn't fit that in my car.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My eyebrows are naturally green...
You should message me if
You're interesting, intelligent and fun... Or you aim to be, or think you are... Open minded is excellent - I really struggle with bigots. And not in a kooky wrestle kind of way - more in a 'would prefer to have limited association with' kind of way. It'd be kinda cool if you weren't just looking for casual sex and if you weren't too conservative - politically or socially... You might find me more appealing that way. Or contact me if you want to hit a dance floor with me.

Also only message if you want to - no pressure. I'd hate someone to feel compelled - that'd likely make an awkward interaction...
