My self-summary
I love learning new things, experiencing new sensations, and hearing new stories. The more flavors, scents, new words, vistas, tales and insights I can learn and experience, the happier I am.

I'm in wonderful, poly marriage; we've been traveling around the world for the past couple years and just got back to Tucson, so I'd love to hear about any new restaurants or things going on!

I'm looking to meet new friends now that we're back and settled some--if it's one thing that traveling as long as we did taught me, it's how much getting to meet new people can make life more fun and interesting. I want to hear your stories!
What I’m doing with my life
Finding new places to explore, new local foods to try, new books to read, and being nomadic. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories, which the kind of travel I was doing was fantastic for, to my delight.

I'm working toward a Masters in Acupuncture - it seems to be a good midway point between my experience as an EMT and my intentions from when I was a yoga teacher.

I slip in some freelance writing when I can, which ranges from the banal to the somewhat scandalous--it was always a good supplement while travelling, in any case...it gave me something to do on twelve-hour bus rides in Malaysia, say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love reading. I love science fiction most of all, but I'll read just about anything someone might recommend to me. Basically I'm usually reading a few different books at once, and at home I visit the library at least once a week, if not more.

I think the restaurant scene in Tucson is pretty great, and a big part of why I enjoy traveling is basically so I can try as many different cuisines as possible. I just want to eat all the things.

I adore burlesque, buskers, and street performers.

I'm a podcast junkie--I've gotten to the point where I listen to so many different ones that to rotate through them can take quite a while, but I don't mind that at all.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever books I'm reading. Places to travel. Gender and sexuality. History. Alternative modes of healthcare. Eating all the things.
On a typical Friday night I am
You should message me if

Or if you have suggestions or advice about any of the above!
