I'm in a happy, polyamorous marriage; we've been traveling around the world for the past couple years (the USA coasts, a longer time in SE Asia, India, a few months in Israel/Palestine, and a couple stops in Europe) and are now both going back to school in Tucson.
I'm looking to meet new people and find new romance now that I'm back--I love positive, considerate people who are engaged with the world.
I've been told I have a really loud, resonant laugh when I get going. But generally, I'm at least smiling most of the time, if not actively guffawing, because life is pretty awesome.
I'm working toward a Masters in Acupuncture - it seems to be a good midway point between my experience as an EMT and my intentions from when I was a yoga teacher.
I slip in some freelance writing when I can, which ranges from the banal to the somewhat scandalous--it was always a good supplement while travelling, in any case...it gave me something to do on twelve-hour bus rides in Malaysia, say.
I've recently been baking more and more. I have no idea why. But it's pretty fun. I may have just answered my own wondering, I suppose.
I think the restaurant scene in Tucson is pretty great, and a big part of why I enjoy traveling is basically so I can try as many different cuisines as possible. I just want to eat all the things.
I adore burlesque, buskers, and street performers, and I'm really enjoying getting back into Tucson's local music scene.
I'm a podcast junkie--I've gotten to the point where I listen to so many different ones that to rotate through them can take quite a while, but I don't mind that at all.
And I'd love recommendations for any and all of the above!
You have a suggestion for a baking recipe for me to try.
I love making new friends and romantic connections, and I'm open to seeing where chemistry goes, deepening conversations and relationships.
