My self-summary
i'm all about balance, or i try to be at least. i laugh too loudly at inappropriate moments. i'm a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants cook, screw the recipe book! I want to become a pregnancy and childbirth educator- knowledge is power, baby! i am goofy, witty, have a twisted sense of humor. i'm a realistic optimist who would rather ask "why not" than "why".

i'm in an awesome polyamorous relationship with frolfguy. our intent and desire is to build long-lasting relationships and community around us... with that said we are also down to get down (together and separately). we very seriously want to live in community with other loving, fun, supportive individuals and families- so if an intentional community is a desire of yours, i would love to talk with you.

i'd enjoy getting to know more people and build new friendships, so please don't be afraid to say "hello" even if it's just for platonic coffee dates and people watching.

i'm silly, honest, smart and can be ridiculously exuberant!
What I’m doing with my life
keeping our offspring alive, one day at a time.

preparing to enroll in the ICEA program for childbirth education.
I’m really good at
putting my foot in my mouth.

being punny, making random (yet completely relevant) pop culture references. i bet i could get you to play a game of tennis in the middle of a sporting store. i can get people to open up and talk, i think that is my favorite 'thing' i'm really good at.

making things happen- i can organize and execute plans pretty well. once i decide what i want, i find a way to make it happen.

mostly i am good at being a friend.
The first things people usually notice about me
i suppose it would be my eyes, i get the most compliments on them. i also have a crazy loud and genuine laugh that everyone notices.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
books: i love palahniuk and robbins. i also enjoy
Augusten Burroughs, C. D. Payne, A. M. Homes, Hunter S. Thompson, Paulo Coelho, Neil Gaiman, David Sedaris and Douglas Coupland. i enjoy Ellis, but he scares the shit out of me.
Sex at Dawn, The Ethical Slut, Dancing at the Shame Prom, It's Not the Stork...

movies: the princess bride is the best movie. ever. (although my favorite movie is o, brother) i dig on heist movies, good dramas and smart comedies and awesomely bad movies.

music: my roots are firmly based in classic rock- i was raised with the grateful dead, zeppelin, floyd, fleetwood mac, tom petty, janis joplin, buffalo springfield, the beatles etc. but i'm into most everything from kanye to m. ward

food: i love home cooked meals and really like my veggies. i'm almost always up for sushi or mexican food.

i enjoy these things for my own reasons and i'm not a snob about them... please don't be a snob about the things you enjoy to read/watch/listen to/eat.
The six things I could never do without
my people, love, quiet time, touch, challenge and laughter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
sex... people... health... how to help/serve (even in the simplest of ways)... family dynamics... food... school... goals... communication... randomness...
On a typical Friday night I am
curled up with a good book or movie or hopefully with a house-full of friends: talking, laughing, cooking, drinking wine and being silly.
i'm not into the bar or club scene so you won't find me there.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i'm a pretty open person, if you ask i'll more than likely answer.
You should message me if
i like good vibes, positive energy, quirky personalities and people with open minds and hearts. please message me if you have those. if you want to homestead with us, help me raise some chickens!

i am not interested in over-indulged egos, lifted trucks, superficial tendencies or people with brainwashed ideals of what is 'socially acceptable', 'normal', or 'beautiful'.
