Stuff I like:
travelling - 24 countries, and counting
classic films - from early to modern classic
theatre - watching and performing
thai food, middle eastern food, italian food, french food, etc
red wine and gin, though not together
Stuff I'm not big on:
technology (Lord help me, I try)
the pickup line "you look like trouble" - I honestly don't know what that is supposed to mean
what the city does to winter
Films: Hard to pinpoint, but I do like the classics (Gaslight, Philadelphia Story, Singing in the Rain, pretty well anything directed by David Lean). Faves filmed in colour include Juno, Hamlet (Kenneth Brannagh), most things Don McKellar has either written, directed, acted in, or breathed on, Love Actually, Magnolia, Coen bros, Wes Anderson stuff and Woody Allen flicks.
Favorite Shows: Okay, I was first thinking stage productions, but I guess this means tv. I don't watch much serial programming, because I work shifts and it's hit or miss whether or not I'm home to watch something. I mostly watch TCM, but I also have liked The Office, An Idiot Abroad, Twitch City, Sex and the City (yes, I am a girl), and M*A*S*H.
Music: My ipod is very varied. I like Beck, Rufus Wainwright, Sarah Harmer, White Stripes, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Tori Amos, Sloan, Nine Inch Nails. I also like older music like Sinatra, Dave Brubeck, Ella Fitzgerald. My car radio is set to R2 right now. Because of this, I am starting an audio love affair with Mo Kenney and Jeremy Fisher. The kink of it all.
Food: Thai, French Country, authentic cheese fondue
