My self-summary
So I'm Seth, and it's a pleasure to meet you! I'm generally the quiet type, but tend to open up once I get comfortable. That being said, I love meeting new folks, so feel free to say hello!

If you do want to keep reading... well, I'm honestly never really sure what to put in these things, suffice to say that I want to cover the really basic stuff that I'm pretty sure gets a mention in a few other places anyway. I'm a pretty much open book, so instead of cobbling together a bunch of information that's going to sound stale, I'm opting to pose an invite: if you've got a burning question that isn't here, feel free to say hello and ask, you'll get a response as long as you're polite.

I've been with my partner for getting close to seven years now, he's just what I'm looking for in a partner, and that's pretty much that. That being said, we're open, so I'm open to seeing where a conversation leads. I'd welcome anyone saying hello though, even if you're not looking for the same things, don't decline to say hello: new friends are always welcome!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm in Fairfax, just living the domestic life. I'm mostly a homebody these days, but enjoy the occasional get together with friends, and I'm always looking for more of those! My days are mostly the daily grind at work, with the occasional errand (exhilarating, I know) or outing (movies, etc.).
I’m really good at
I tend to keep my head, even when things get stressful; sure it comes off as a little emotionally-distant, but it definitely helps in a pinch. I tend to come at things pretty analytically, so I'm a good set of eyes to look at a problem or understand a situation.

I've also got a collection of random knowledge, so if you're looking for a strange and unexpected fact, I've definitely got something for you.
The first things people usually notice about me
These days I don't really know; I think usually it's my wit. I tend to have a mix of clever witticisms and filthy humor, usually in combination with one another, so expect a random reference or play on words combined with some dirty, if we start talking long enough.

Other than that, you'll have to tell what it is that you notice first, I'd love to have something else for this section!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't like playing favorites, so most of the time the answer is going to be something I enjoyed that I sampled relatively recently. On the whole though, I tend to be pretty open to trying new things, especially when it comes to foods. Just about the only thing I don't enjoy is something expected or plain; I'll usually try the unusual flavor on the menu, or grab the movie with the plot that sounds weird.

Originality is something I value, not just in myself, but in what I enjoy, so new experiences are always the most fun.
The six things I could never do without
Lists like these always seemed so silly, but if I had to...

1) Some good conversation; never underestimate the value of a new perspective!

2) A moment to unwind; I spend a lot of my days doing things, especially during the work week, so I really value a chance to relax

3) Something thought-provoking; I don't tend to dwell on small talk, usually I've got something on my mind, whether it's from work or something I've seen/read

4) My phone; in lieu of these other things, a smartphone is an acceptable substitute

5) A cozy space; I tend to nestle, whether it's on the couch or at my desk, I tend to bundle up, it's not about warmth but being snug

6) The mister; he's definitely last but most important on the list
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Usually where I'm at in the week, or what I've got to take care of on a day-to-day basis.

Or you know, checking out the cute fellas.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most of the time these days it's at home, unwinding after a long week, but sometimes I do find myself going out, or spending it with friends doing something fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've given this one a lot of thought, and anything I think of falls either in the category of "too boring and not private enough" or "too private and not going up on this profile." Honestly, you're also welcome to just ask, because I'm a pretty open book, and if it's not really something I want to share, I promise I'll politely say so, there's really no harm!
You should message me if
You're looking for a new friend; I'm always happy to make more, and love a good conversation.

If you're interested in anything more than that, I usually tend to go for cubs/bears, but exceptions definitely get made.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
