I am pretty good at a lot of different things but don't claim to be an expert of anything.
My interest pretty much runs all over the place. I like a little bit of everything with the exception of Country / Most Rap and just overall shitty music from no talent ass clowns fabricated from some marketing team.
Musicians I do like include (in no particular order): Mars Volta, Sonic Youth, Porcupine Tree, Silversun Pickups, Police, RJD2, Broken Social Scene, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Call Me Lightning, Bloc Party, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Karate, Fugazi, U2, Jeff Buckley, Michael Franti, Bob Marley, Rush, System of a Down, Mogwai, Sade, Minus the Bear, Nine Inch Nails, Lords of Acid, Dredg, Peter Gabriel and the Real World label...and many more but if I kept going...well you know.
Most of the books I read are work related but here are a couple of fiction novels that I like:
"The Alchemist" by Paul Coehlo
"The Story of O" by Pauline Réage
A couple of my favorite writers are Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau and others from the Transcendental period.
I mostly watch documentaries and comedies. To me, reality is more entertaining than fiction. The fiction films I do like include:
The Usual Suspects, Grindhouse, Pulp Fiction, Sin City, Office Space, Lord of the Rings, Fashionistas, the original Emmanuelle
Shows: I don't watch a lot of TV but when I do, I like intelligent comedies that don't depend on a laugh track. Arrested Development comes to mind. I am also a pretty big sports fan. I like watching the Rays and Cubs, Football, and Soccer (MLS, Champions League, and EPL). If you know what EPL stands for - you should definitely contact me. :)
I am not a foodie but I do like to cook on occasion although it makes more sense when I cook for two than by myself so....
3. Internet (it's how I make my living)
5. Good Beer (I'm not talking Budweiser products here)
