My self-summary
Hello. As my name says, I tend to be quite a nerd. I enjoy nerd and geek culture, with activities ranging from D&D to watching lectures at the local college. Plus, as I'm sure most people do, I love Spaceballs. If you've never even heard of that movie, we're probably not going to get along.

Otherwise I'm really open to just about anything. I love to go camping, check out conventions, or just chill and play some games/watch movies.

Now, and this may surprise you, but I also enjoy football, and am a huge fan of the 49ers (which, given how they've played lately, I porbably shouldn't post about.)

When I'm not watching football, I enjoy shows like Agents of Shield, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and even the non-superhero types, like NCIS and CSI. I'm pretty wide open for movies, recently enjoying the Martian, and Star Wars, but will go see just about any movie, even terrible ones, if nothing more than to have a good laugh.

I'm looking at going back to school in the fall to further my education. I've received an Associates' Degree, and currently work in IT, however, I'm looking to progress into a Web Development or Software Engineer role. I keep myself busy always trying to learn and grow both professionally and personally.

Also, for your entertainment, enjoy this joke:

A teenage boy is getting ready to take his girlfriend to the prom. First he goes to rent a tux, but there's a long tux line at the shop and it takes forever.
Next, he has to get some flowers, so he heads over to the florist and there's a huge flower line there. He waits forever but eventually gets the flowers.
Then he heads out to rent a limo. Unfortunately, there's a large limo line at the rental office, but he's patient and gets the job done.
Finally, the day of the prom comes. The two are dancing happily and his girlfriend is having a great time. When the song is over, she asks him to get her some punch, so he heads over to the punch table and there's no punchline.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a slave to computers.. err.. I work IT making sure our networking and PC equipment is working as it's supposed to. When I'm not there, I study software development and cooking, as I've always wanted to prepare food.
I’m really good at
My gaming, setting and working towards life goals. Being calm, even when life gets crazy.
The first things people usually notice about me
My love of cookies? Or perhaps my crazy quirky sense of humor. Everyone seems to love that. (Yep, definitely the humor.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, any Tom Clancy novel, most Star Trek novels (there are some really awful ones out there), but typically I'm reading a tech manual, or watching videos.

Favorite TV shows would include the Big Bang Theory (I can relate!), X-Files, any Star Trek franchise (Enterprise is NOT a Star Trek franchise, I don't care how many times they put it in the title), and Sherlock, but I can be quite bad at keeping up with television programs.

Musically, I'm a fan of Rock, ranging from the Red Hot Chili Peppers , Alterbridge, Airbourne (probably my favorite band) to heavy rock, such as Disturbed, Slipknot, and AC/DC.
Six things I could never do without
My Laptop. It keeps me connected to everything I do.
My Dreams. I love playing out wacky adventures with no cost to myself.
My fans. For spinning around and providing me with cool air in which to not be warm.
My heart. Because it's a heart? It's pretty good at pumping blood.
Oh, tacos. It's the same ingredients, but no two people create the same taco. It's really an incredible food.
1989 Denver Broncos because.. South Park.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What new recipes to try out, how terrible the political landscape is today (Go Bernie!), and working on my career.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and Chill.. no. I'm really most likely at a gaming shop, or at home, gaming. I'm sometimes studying instead, especially if I'm in school.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I didn't know I had to clean the lint trap on a dryer until I was 24. I suppose that shouldn't be posted on the internet, but meh.
You should message me if
If you've actually made it to the bottom, and enjoyed what you've read.

If you're a fan of anything geek related, from Doctor Who to MMOs. Geek culture is huge, and fantastic.

If you want to show me a new anime, or love to teach new skills, I love to learn.

If you just want to have a good, fun time with a guy. I'm your man!
