My self-summary
I've lived in the PNW since 2001, originally from Reno, NV. A town that's come a long way in its own right. I love it here, although the winters can be tough. But the overall natural beauty and great people make it a wonderful place to live.

I'm pretty easy going and really enjoy the little things, you know, like a truck and a dog, fishing and camping, dressing up, dressing down, etc.

I'm looking for someone to be a true friend first and foremost. A partner to share life, love and adventure, and someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty.

I like to think I've surrounded myself with colorful and remarkable people through the years and hope to meet more of you.
I'm really a big kid at heart but I certainly do take care of the things that grown ups should. (Or at least it feels that way most of the time.) I try not to take things too personally or seriously, and feel I'm open minded and appreciate new viewpoints and experiences.
What I’m doing with my life
Relearning the art of cursive. Working hard and trying to make a home out of the little house I have. Enjoying the fruits of my labor. Trying to get into the best shape of my life, mentally and physically. Taking the yoga and meditation more seriously. I'm convinced the yoga is making my back feel better than I can remember. Giving my dog the best life a dog could have. Continuing to educate myself by reading, dabbling in online courses and taking the occasional non-credit college class. And hoping the future brings me a partner I can share my joy and love of life, friends and family with.
I’m really good at
Listening. And when I ask you how your day was I really want to know.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd probably say my smile. I'm told I have good teeth. (No braces required)
That probably sounds arrogant I think.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. The Monkeywrench. Bukowski. Alexander Hamilton. Palahniuk.
For some reason I loved Armageddon, that's probably a deal breaker for most. But I like what I like.
Game of Thrones. Sunny. South Park. Walking Dead. Stranger Things. The Wire is still one of my favorites.
Lorde. The Xx. Queens of the Stone Age. Propaghandi. Cat Power. Elliot Smith. The National. Camper Van Beethoven. Most Hip Hop.

These lists obviously always expand and become modified.

For the last couple years I've been on a podcast kick. There's some really great ones, This American Life, RadioLab. Loving the NPR stuff.
Six things I could never do without
My dog. Toothbrush and Toothpaste. Contact lens solution. Comfortable shoes.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The fact there is a super massive black hole at the center of our galaxy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Movie night by the fire sounds great!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a horrible speller.

If you find any of this to your liking and you'd like to meet someone who can make you laugh with self deprecating humor and a relatively quick wit please shoot me a line.
