My self-summary
First things first, I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it.

Now that the big secret is out of the way, my ten year old nephew wrote a poem about me and I think it's pretty accurate:

"My uncle is really nice, his name is not Bryce.
I play soccer with him. He is not at all dim.
He's really funny and makes me not sad. He is the brother of my dad.
He lives in NYC and often visits the family.
He's not weird and used to have a beard.
He is a great guy, I hate when I have to say bye.
He lives downtown, his favorite color is not brown
He left from Russia to the new land, he's really good at making castles out of sand."

I like meeting smart, passionate people who are happy with their lives. I love to cook and spend a lot of time pondering the zen of seasoning cast iron skillets. According to Meyer Briggs I'm an ENTP (even though it's just a horoscope for atheists) and I own that like Garfield owns hating Mondays or Steve Carell owns "that's what she said".

From the age of seven I grew up in Minnesota, then lived in NYC after college. After a several year vacation in Seattle I'm back in NYC and loving it.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a big fan of the four L's: learning, laughing, loving and lexploring.

For a job, I've been at major tech companies, startups and started my own software company that helps utilities run their energy efficiency programs. Now I'm figuring out my next move.

Food: I love all sorts of cuisines and love exploring new restaurants all over town and all over the world. In Seattle I was a human yelp but here I'm just starting to explore. Picking a favorite cuisine is super hard but if pressed, I'll go with Persian or Szechuan.

Six things I could never do without
Two categories:
Round things - a frisbee, a cast iron skillet, blueberries
Wide expanses - new places and ideas to explore, the internets, hardwood floors
On a typical Friday night I am
Working on the DeLorean. Just have to watch out for the Libyans. What, too soon?
