My self-summary
Hey, I'm Kristen. I am the single mom of the most amazing tiny human to ever be born. 😜 Seriously, everyone says it but everyone can't be right. I am, though. She's amazing. The cutest. A huge pain in the ass, but she's supposed to be, she's three lol. She's funny enough to cover for any pain in the ass moves she pulls, hehehe.

I have a BA in Communication, always wanted to be a writer. I was supposed to be the next Barbara Walters, and maybe I haven't gotten there yet, but one day I WILL write the great American novel and, after that, uncover a scandal of epic proportions, Erin Brockovich style. πŸ˜‰

I am looking for someone who I connect with, but refuse to rush or force anything. I am extremely easy to talk to, love my family and friends fiercely, and love to meet new people and try new things. I am recently out of a relationship that ended up being not as serious as I thought, and am interested now in meeting ppl who have similar future goals as me as far as family and commitment goes. I do want to find that elusive forever love, get married, maybe have a baby, I mean that stuff is open but the fact that I will not date ANYONE who doesn't see commitment in their future is not. Maybe that sounds harsh but it's really not. I just want to meet new ppl, date a bit until I find someone who I'm crazy abt. Just like everyone else.

So, here's the skeleton in my closet. A potential deal breaker for some, and I'm putting it in here because if this is not something you could deal with, we're not a good match. I have a chronic autoimmune disease. It is well controlled thankfully, but still something that is a big part of my life that I deal with on a daily basis. My illness doesn't hinder me from much, at least I try not to let it. There are things I definitely can't do because of it but I mostly find a way to do anything I want, lol. I am completely open to talking abt it if you'd like to ask. I understand this is baggage someone might not want to undertake, which is why I put it here, in an effort to not waste anyone's time. My illness doesn't define me though and I would hope it wouldn't be a reason someone wouldn't want to talk to me. But I just wanted to put this out there right off the bat.

That being said, anyone who could veg out and watch a Saturday TLC Dateline marathon with me without getting should definitely message me. 😳😜

I also apparently love to write very very long self summaries on dating websites. 😳😳😜
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to be the best mommy possible to my little princess...
I’m really good at
Seeing all sides of every situation. Writing. Getting out of speeding tickets by looking at the officer innocently and explaining that I was sorry, but I didn't have any idea how fast I was going, because I was rockin' out to Neil Diamond. (Yes, this actually happened, yes, I really was cranking Sweet Caroline, and yes, the cop laughed and was whistling it as he walked away...and I didn't even get a warning. 😜) Singing. Grammar. Spelling. Jeopardy. Wheel of Fortune. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, also my eyelashes. (Ridiculously long and dark...saves me money on mascara, anyway. :-P)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Book: Les Miserables. It was reeeeeeally long, but reeeeeally worth it!!

TV Show: Dateline. Parks and Recreation. Silicon Valley. Anything on Investigation Discovery.

Movie: The Sound of Music. And the original 1960ish Parent Trap. Looooove me some Hayley Mills!! :-P lol

Music: I am pretty much into everything except heavy metal and hardcore rap. Just kinda gives me a headache, and I like to be able to hear the lyrics in what I'm listening to. And, of course, the greatest songwriter of our time, Neil Diamond. 😜 (look, don't make me defend my love for the man, ok? He deserves it. πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚)

Food: ANYTHING which involves cheese but does not include seafood. :-P Not much of a seafood fan at all, actually...
Six things I could never do without
My daughter
My family (parents, sister and brother)
My iPad, sad to say...
Cherry Coke!! 😜
Flip flops
Yoga pants 😜

(Okay... I could live without the last four...but I would be much better company if they were accessible. πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I am doing the absolute best I can for my little girl, if the decisions I am making are to her benefit or detriment, places we could go, road trips we could take, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my peanut, or, if she is with her dad, out with a friend or two...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Well, I already outted myself on the Neil Diamond it possible to admit something more embarassing than that?! 😳😳

Also, I am pretty good at copying accents. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ And sometimes, I talk to myself in the car with a British accent. Hahaha. 😊
You should message me if
You actually can carry on a conversation which consists of more than one word answers...

You like children, not just dont mind them...

You have an awesome sense of humor but don't have to be "on" all the time...

You think I sound adorable... (I am! I promise! 😜)

....okay, anyone left?! Hehehe. 😊😊
