My self-summary
I'm usually a man of few words.

I live very simply with a handful of vices - great coffee, great whiskey, and great vinyl records. CEO of Peppermint Media LLC, graphic artist, web developer, former touring musician, current local musician, host of whiskey/campfire parties. I'm loving, caring, honest, and supportive... if you can get past my current work obligations and strong introverted tendencies.
What I’m doing with my life
Web development, graphic design, music...

I quit my career job in Feb 2013 to pursue my own personal creative career. I quit going freelance in Feb 2014 to start a media company with two friends. It's challenging but incredibly rewarding. I'm rolling with the punches and learning a lot in the process. I live alone and I live simply (except for the addiction to awesome vinyl records and single-origin coffees).

I also get play music with several local musicians, which is truly my passion.
I’m really good at
Learning songs on short notice.
Translating all kinds of songs to acoustic guitar.
Math.
Making coffee and espresso drinks.
Ultimate Frisbee, and more recently, Disc Golf.
Finding a random spelling error in a mass of copy.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my strange hair pattern. I have alopecia areata, which is why I shave my head. I think most people are afraid to ask, but some people affectionately call it "Pangea." I am 110% fine with it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, Killing Yourself to Live...
Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, Ryan Adams, Gungor, Lana Del Rey, Passion Pit, Vampire Weekend, Elbow, The Frames, Pretty Lights, Elizabeth & The Catapult, Sia, Andrew Bird, and on and on...
Dexter, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, stuff, things...
The six things I could never do without
1) A creative outlet.
2) An electrical outlet.
3) Cheese.
4) Wifi.
5) Coffee and/or whiskey.
6) Warmth.
7) Math skills.
8) Irony
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what it was that I was thinking about a few minutes prior, but had quickly forgotten.
On a typical Friday night I am
...there is no typical Friday night. There is no typical ANY night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
will definitely not be listed on an online dating site.
You should message me if
...you want. I'm not always great at initiating contact, especially online, but I can usually hold a good conversation.

...and if I don't respond to you at all, don't take it personally.
