My self-summary
I walk everywhere. And when I do, I like to look, listen, and notice the world around me. Endlessly fascinating, if sometimes unappetizing or downright weird. I am curious about life, the world, and, if we chat or meet, I will definitely be curious about you. In a good way.

I am close to family and have a core group of old friends I adore who I'm lucky to have managed to stay in touch with over the years, through long distances and some differences. Partly that's because even though I left the east for the west coast a long time ago, I like to fly and when I show up it's a great excuse for everyone to get together. I'm also a pretty good organizer and know you usually have to persistent to make things happen.

I'm looking for someone creative, optimistic, and who is different from me but also thinks about life as a marathon, not a sprint. We can do it all, just not all right now.
What I’m doing with my life
Always looking for new ways to spend my time, talents and creativity talking, writing, thinking, pushing, and working for causes I care about.

Exploring every part of San Francisco - I love nothing more than to accidentally happen upon a new corner of the city I'd never seen before.

Staying connected to friends & family best I can.
I’m really good at
- listening
- tuning out the noise
- taking photos
- adjusting on the fly
- writing postcards
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm surprisingly silly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
- New music favs: "Return to the Moon" - EL VY, "Genghis Khan" - Miike Snow, "Giving Up On You" - Wild Belles, "Willie Mays Is Up At Bat" - Chuck Prophet

- Old music favs: Pixies/Frank Black, Wilco, Belle & Sebastian, Neko Case, Billy Bragg

- everything on the "San Francisco" shelf at City Lights Books. Right now I'm reading "The Secret History of Wonder Woman". Very rich and taking me a long time to get through, but I really like it.

- High Fidelity, Lost In Translation

- All things Mike Birbiglia, comedians talking about how comedy works
The six things I could never do without
sometimes having nothing to do
running, swimming
awesome people
pen & paper
I spend a lot of time thinking about

what I love about San Francisco, and how to enjoy it & protect it

what I see everyday when I walk down the street
On a typical Friday night I am
at the movies, an event, out with a friend, or sometimes working late
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sometimes sing when I'm stressed.
You should message me if
you like laughing, adventures, and figuring things out together
