My self-summary
I am an unabashed geek. I love comics, books, history, quirky tv, and video games. I write, I cook, i game. I live by my own mismatched ideals and mad fancies. I strive for gentlemanly conduct, even when I fail at it. I'm full of contradictions, and I've been told i have no filter when it comes to my opinions. I'm just this nerdy guy trying to make out in the world and find my companion
What I’m doing with my life
I work at a local grocery store. I'm sort of a Jack of still trades in the grocery world. Outside of work, I read, play a variety of board games (and yes, dungeons and dragons) watch Netflix, and am occasionally a shiftless layabout. Oh, also i go hiking whenever i have a companion and gas money.
I’m really good at
Being mad(in the hatter sense), writing, cooking, endeavoring to persevere.
The first things people usually notice about me
Right now, with the beard, and the beanie at work the thing people seem to notice is how often i look like a lumberjack (and that's okay!)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too long at the moment. If you really want to know, you're obviously interested and will inquire within
Six things I could never do without
Tenacious D says there are 5 needs, and these are they:
First, you need the planet. Earth beneath your feet.
Next you need the air, oxygen to breathe. You couldn't live an instant without that.
Then you need the water. The icy cool water.
Now, you need some love.
The fifth need is to rock your world. I only wanted to rock your world
It comes before food!

So once you add the food, BAM! Six things i can't live without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to force reality to shift into a different quantum state purely by my will, how to create a properly chilling modern cosmic horror story to terrify the masses and make me money, how to escape student loan debt. Oh, and if i could afford a puppy. Recently I've been thinking about how to move outside Portland to one of the mountain towns while keeping my job and never needing a roommate again.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out at home recovering from what is my Wednesday. My Friday (Sunday) is typically whatever seems good at the time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't believe you'll read this far
You should message me if
You should just message me, I find I thrive on novelty, so the mere fact that you say hello will brighten my day.

You should message me if you like hiking, or games of most any variety, or are secretly a fan of professional wrestling and need someone to share it with.

You should definitely message me if you've figured out how to do the real world version of walking behind the white block in Mario 3
