Let's see, I believe everyone can be described as a series of eloquently phrased contradictions.
I'm a tomboy, but I know how to dress myself.
I'm a woman, but I know women are nuts.
I'm a cynical smart ass, but I care deeply.
I'm straight up and will tell you the blunt reality, but there is a time and a place for sweet words.
I have a passion for life that co-exists with a comfortable fear of it.
I do that awful, embarassing thing where I act aloof and tough, but on the inside I'm sensitive and sweet.
I have tattoos.
I write. It's what I do.
Never fear, I am much more than a resume.
Combining lame Dad humour with sharp sarcastic humour.
Most people notice that I'm very opinionated right away.
Books; Game of Thrones, Stephen King, Harry Potter, Kurt Vonnegut, Anne Rice, Edgar Allan Poe, Shakespeare, Ernest Hemingway, McCarthy, DeLillo, basically old classics or new post modernism is always good.
Movies; Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, anything well done, anything weird or undergroundish. I like to think. The Big Lebowski is my not so secret love.
Music: I listen to a lot of music, but older is better, in general. Led Zeppelin is first and foremost, Pink Floyd close behind. I like all types of rock, grunge, post-hardcore, new rock, everything indie, blues. Zeppelin, Floyd, Pearl Jam, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Alexisonfire, Radiohead, Maps & Atlases, The Tallest Man On Earth, Smashing Pumpkins, The Tea Party, Kings of Leon, Rolling Stones, Arcade Fire, CCR, Born Ruffians, Bright Eyes, Queen, Cancer Bats, SOAD, Eddie Vedder, Fleetwood Mac, Lumineers, Minus the Bear, Neutral Milk Hotel, Rival Sons, Sheepdogs, The Smiths, White Stripes, Zeus.
I'm always looking for more:)
Human suffering and why we're all assholes,
Unusual connections between things no one else notices.
The fact that it's not "cool" anymore for people to like things without being ironic: that people take themselves way too seriously and have forgotten how to enjoy life and how childish is that. That letting myself be silly and excited and optimistic is the most mature thing I can do.
- You're not going to point out the fact that you didn't call me cute and expect a thank you.
- You don't describe yourself as a "typical easy going, fun loving-" stop it you're just a boring person.
