My self-summary
Photographer, nerd, cripple.

Sometimes, words just don't cut it, so make pictures instead.

I'm a street photographer mostly. I find that the world we live in is variously, savagely beautiful.

When I'm not taking photos I'm usually thinking about ethics. Otherwise known as trying to be less of a dick than I was last year.

Had a difficult first part of life untill a few years ago when I was finally able to get away from a profoundly abusive family. So I'm still working out precisely who I am, but aren't we all? Anyway, I like my life now.

Preference/Rule Utilitarian
Open to polyamory.
What I’m doing with my life
I just graduated with my BFA from NYU in photography. Now to make it pay!

(looking for models to portfolio trade with)
I also tweet sarcastically on occasion @leeboyjenkins

I've also been doing this blog where I wax sarcastic about being a cripple. that's www.howtodontwalk.tumblr.com

It's a life goal to visit the world's major cities. So far I've got London, Amsterdam, Prague, Dublin, and Barcelona, as well as New Orleans (I have good stories, you should go there, you will too)
I’m really good at
Finding interesting angles on the everyday.

Also helping people use their technology.
The first things people usually notice about me
The way I walk (more about that later).

My capacity to retain information.

People also seem to get a kick out of my hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
People ask me for favorites, and the best I can do is the top 10. So I'll give you what's of the minute.

Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Last Werk Tonight

Freakenomics, Harry Potter, DMZ, Alastair Reynolds.

Most of my music is folky-indie-whatever that I first hear on WFUV.

Mike Doughty, The Mountain Goats, State Radio, Bedouin Soundclash, Anais Mitchell, VNV Nation.

Islay Single Malt Scotch (Laphroig, Ardbeg) Guiness, Magic Hat No. 9

New American cuisine, Gastropubs, Indian, Dumplings, Thai.
The six things I could never do without
A camera, coffee, nice craft beer, all of the other assorted goofy apparatus of photography. My Leatherman and flashlight which I keep strapped to my belt at all times. Gaffer tape.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whether or not things are ethical. Whether or not the things I've done and do are ethical.

Also, food. And coffee, and what things would look like as pictures. And bokeh.

And how all sorts of things, feminism, LGBTQ rights and so on, are really (at least to my mind) logical components of a generally humanist world view. And that if people could just remember that other people are just that, people, that we would have a much better time in this world.

And also kink, and how it (counterintuitively) doesn't contradict any of the above.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm a firm believer in the maxim that "Bad ideas make for great stories" (As long as you don't end up dead or maimed) So various kooky misadventures that I get dragged into against my better judgement.

I'm definitely more of a fewer stronger friendships sort of person.

Or having people over for a movie and a few beers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have mild cerebral palsy and walk with a cane for stability. I don't need it to walk, but it has been shown to decrease my frequency of close encounters of the pavement kind.

I'm into the dominant side of kink.
You should message me if
Upon reading the above nonsense, you have decided that you want to.

If you are interested in getting together in person

Also a lot of people have something posted to the effect of "if you aren't a serial killer." Well, to put your mind at ease, I actually couldn't be violent even if I wanted to. I'm handicapped, you could knock me down and run away.

I am however, known to murder the occasional bowl of Cheerios.
