My self-summary
I finished school for paramedicine. It was an overextended, ridiculous journey. I had to change locations for a while. I already am a firefighter (Yes, I run into burning buildings). I love getting outdoors, going on road trips, cooking (starting fires (joke, I actually cook)). Ive grown a fondness for farms and horses. I'm more of a night owl. I love dogs- Bonus points if you like Dalmatians! I will go and get a cat out of a tree... I hate snakes, rats, spiders... bugs in general. If your a fan of any of these strange critters: I really dont want to even know they exist. P.S. after an internship far far away from here, I found out we have copperhead snakes in NYS. Yuck.

Originally, I went to school for finance, which I found interesting (everyone likes money right?). Then I switched to rocket science in hopes of designing something to take me to the stars, took pilot lessons; I was disappointed with the impersonal nature of the work (I own a telescope and love astronomy- I also am a bit of a sci-fi geek: call me hopeless, it comes with the territory). I care a great deal about my friends and family and will go to the ends of the earth to help them. I wear my heart on my sleeve most of the time. Other than that, I am told that I am funny, upbeat, fun, kind, driven, and highly intelligent.

P.S. Yes, you did not read the profile incorrectly. I am actually 6'8"- being this tall is literally a pain in my neck. Cars, clothes... I can never find any of these that suit my vertically challenged self.

P.P.S. My favorite TV show: Cops... Firefighters heart Cops.... (Sort of ;) And, my real name is NOT Lemont Bond.
What I’m doing with my life
Saving lives and designing stuff to help make lives better. In my free time, I volunteer as a fireman/emt. I have a job being a tax man of sorts working as an emt/paramedic. I.e. when you dont take care of your body by eating bacon, guzzling alcohol, and smoking god knows what, I am the tax man who comes with the bill! Eat your veggetables!
I’m really good at
-Cooking (starting fires)
-Putting out fires
-Pulling ideas from my hat
-Fixing peoples boo-boos
-Holding your hand when you have a boo-boo
-Making hurt people feel like daddy will fix their problem, kiss their boo boo and make it all better
The first things people usually notice about me
My Height- I have to duck under some (all) doors... I look like a clown getting out of any car smaller than a Chevy Tahoe, and clothes are difficult to find.
I get told that I am a giant teddy bear..
People also tell me that I have nice eyes ...
People tell me I look so familiar..we probably have met but I Will never admit it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: My favorite authors include Robert Ludlum, Tom Clancy, John Anderson, Descartes, Stephen Levit (Freakanomics), and Hunter S. Thompson. I love books of any kind really.
I use the oxford comma.

Movies: I will watch almost any movie -except Disney (Modern Disney)s. Edit: Classic Disney movies aren't so bad.

TV Shows: Coupling, Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead, Burn Notice, Cops. Firefighters <3 Cops.

Music: I like alternative and rock, with a tinge of hip-hop and country mixed in. Variety is the spice of life.

Food: Italian food, diner fare, grilled food, and breakfast foods are musts for me. Sushis!
Six things I could never do without
-Friends and family
-EMS pants
-Sleep-lots of sleep, I need recovery coma days from my herculean 36 hour ems escapades
-People who do silly things and call 911 to keep me employed and busy
-Nerdy women who enjoy talking about books
-Nerdy women who enjoy talking about science
-Nerdy women who enjoy talking about medicine
I realize that's 9 things. Six is a terrible number
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I will be in 5, 10, and 15 years
Why people always assume I am the man in charge of the world when I show up
Why news reporters flock to me and always call me "chief"
On a typical Friday night I am
My Friday night's consist of going out into the fray and saving people from wild, extreme situations- its never boring, very challenging and extremely dangerous
I'm also usually prepping and or training with my batman equipment for the next shift.
Reading medical books in attempt to understand some wild medical or psychological diagnosis
Reading parenting books to learn how to handle unruly people
Getting in the batmobile- unsure if I want to overthrow a government, save a life, or go out for ice cream... The decisions you make in vehicles...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was afraid of water. I became a lifeguard and rowed in a crew boat (high school) to take on my fear. Now water is my friend (fireman and all...).
Recently I have been running into a lot of people I've helped.. They walk right up to me and say "you look so familiar, I think you saved my life!!" I had to think long and hard about my response. What I now respond to people is: "I do porn..."
You should message me if
You enjoy going out to bars, walking/hiking, discussing books, reading books, watching Star Trek or sci fi shows, want to discuss mad science theory, or taking your daddy issues out on random men from okcupid [joke/not a joke].
