My self-summary
I'm pretty easy going, happy go lucky, contemplative, comforting, comfortable, cuddle loving, mischievous, sarcastic, and spontaneous.

I love to go hiking, rock climbing, camping, bicycling, running, exercising, aerial acrobatics (circus), yoga, acro yoga, strolling, going on spontaneous trips, watching movies, hanging out with friends, reading in coffee shops... I Love me some good Coffee. Oh and tea, lots of tea this year.

I work in the Solar Industry and am an outdoor educator and love people who have an appreciation for wilderness and wild places.
I like to find the unusual and untamed, to push myself to experience something new, and off the beaten path.

I am a very outgoing person, and I like to find people to share life's adventures with, that's just the very best.
What I’m doing with my life
(I just hiked the Pacific Crest Trail (April - September), if you'd like to see my video blog, the videos are on YouTube, just type in "Ranger Steve's PCT Hike 2016" and you'll find them.)

Really I suppose I'm still figuring that one out, best I can say is I'm livin life. Adding and subtracting as needed and necessary, and having as much fun as possible while learning along the way.

I work in the Solar Industry installing Solar panels. I am an instructor with a nature school. I teach primitive living skills like fire by friction, stone tool making, shelter building... Living off and of the earth kinda stuff.
I am a Handy man.
I am a Certified Personal Trainer.
I have an Associates Degree from CSCC (Columbus State Community College) and went to OSU (The Ohio State University) Still working on that one...

I,m trying to stay in the moment as much as possible, and not get lost in the ridiculousness and red tape of modern life. I try to see the beauty and good in all people and things.
I want my life to be unconventional and free (to take the path less traveled). Seeking happiness and love before all else. I am by no means what you would call a flower child but I do like me some pretty flowers!
I’m really good at
Giving good hugs!
Speaking ironically
I am a handy man, I fix and build things as part of my job.
I can work on most cars.
Being artsy
The first things people usually notice about me
You tell me when we meet
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
- Books:
Born to Run, All of 'Tom Brown Jr.'s books, Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, Planet Walker, Fools Crow, On The Road, The Dharma Bums, Ishmael, Illusions, books about mountain climbing, ...

The list goes on...

I was raised on classic rock so it's my go to but all music has it's place and time, and that goes for movies as well. I like it all, more some days than others.
Six things I could never do without
1. Trusted friends
2. NPR
3. Winter hikes in the mountains
4. Those perfect summer nights, the ones that are just right
5. Wild untamed open spaces
6. Coffee to drink and a page to turn (these count as one)

Actually the reverse order is probably far more accurate
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How chaotic the world can be
Hypothetical scenarios
Grand gestures
The next flash mob i will start
What that one guys name was... you know from that one movie... Gaah
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing something random with friends, Home watching a movie/reading a book, or at the gym. I also like to go on night runs and bike rides.

There's something about mountain night drives, I don't know, especially when it's warm out and the windows are down. They're pretty great. Just saying
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That though I don't go out of my way to listen to them, whenever I hear the Backstreet Boys or Nsync I kinda like it...
You should message me if
If anything above intrigues you. If you're going to be honest with me and yourself. If something is nagging at you about me. If you're an outdoor loving adventure seeking good hearted person who still gets a little choked up at the end of Forest Gump. Message me if ya want! Can't hurt!
