My self-summary
Practical Dreamer. Singing as I walk down the streets. You will find it either charming or annoying. More than likely both.

I'm an extrovert, and thrive on meeting new folks. But I also work long hours which sometimes gets in the way.

I was born in SF, which makes me, in my determination, a unicorn.

According to e.e. cummings, "yes is the only living thing." I agree.

I am halcyon, breathy, and inventive

ENFP. Entertainer. Good listener.

Traveling this summer.
What I’m doing with my life
Laughing with teenagers. A few of them call me Ms. Glasses. Ha! Avoiding the avalanche of grading that comes to me like clockwork. Catching typos in restaurant menus. Eating at said restaurants. Finding parking like a champ.

I teach writing and reading and all things inbetween; that's how I fill my pockets, and to a certain degree, my heart. I also play guitar, sing, craft line-breaks in poems, hike lazy-level mountains, hold poses named after things I am not: warrior, cobra and chair. I taste wine; I make food with friends; and I read - a lot.

Lately, I've been doing a lot of travel too. Summers off are a great boon. In the past couple years not only have I moved from NYC to SF, I've hit Sequim, Seattle, Walla Walla, Portland, Eugene, Idaho Falls, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Mesa Verde, Bryce Canyon, Taos Pueblo, Chaco Canyon, Monument Valley, and then, my international stint took me to Lisbon and Sintra Portugal; as well as Munich, Kassel and Frankfurt Germany. Don't talk to me about Berlin - I know I should have made it there. Whatever. I'll go back. I have to get to Vienna anyhow. I took a trip to South Africa a couple years ago, and my eyes are still seeing new colors as a result of what I saw there.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Hope as an intangible tool. How amazing maps are.

Also, according to OKC, I am 99.6% compatible with myself. I wonder if that's apt.
