My self-summary
Recently moved to Toronto for an opportunity to work my dream job in Air Traffic Control.

I love sports, the arts, chess, good food, better conversations, politics, my friends...

I grew up on the East Coast but lived in Ottawa the past 15 or so years. I spent most of that time working in the performing arts (first as a musician, later tour managing, producing concerts and organizing festivals in various styles of music, contemporary dance and hip hop). Left that scene in 2014 and went back to working as a ski patroller in the winter and a soccer referee in the summer. Life has been good these past years - relaxed and healthy. Now looking forward to seeing what TO brings.

In terms of dating: I am not in a rush - I'm looking for someone friendly, intelligent and patient first; athletic / fit, who has diverse interests including the arts and music second. Feminist, capable women are incredibly attractive to me.

I'd like to find my counterpoint in another human being, but at the moment, by necessity, my focus is on my own development and a demanding training program. As a consequence, I feel I've been able to grow as a person, and while the job will offer huge rewards and freedom once I'm licensed, for now requires being my number one priority. To deal: I try to exercise daily, eat healthy, get the rest I need, study... and it would be nice to have someone to spend time with, and get to know, when the time works for both of us!

Six things I could never do without
I just finished pulling my life apart to put it back together again somewhere else. I am starting to believe there isn't anything I couldn't live without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The difference between careless and reckless tackles. (I'm a soccer referee)

I don't really have any typical Friday nights, it seems.
