I am not into organized religion, but i do have a spiritual perspective and try to go to a wed night Buddhist style meditation in Bethesda from time to time. I was raised in a culturally Jewish home.To me spirituality involves finding peace of mind , an attitude of gratitude for everything , feeling true compassion and developing an open heart.
Eating reasonably healthy, mostly veg and fish. My key to staying fit and thin is eating less. I find by doing that and exercising i can enjoy some ice cream and junk!
I am not judgmental about others eating habits, we all have our strengths and weaknesses. I certainly have no reason to be self righteous .
i am presently reading "This Changes Everything" by Naomi Klein about climate change, and the New Yorker. I listen to segments ofT TED from NPR but i listen to the podcasts. I listen to 'all things Considered'
