My self-summary
I'm an ENTP that's pretty energetic once I'm awake. I like to try new things, particularly hobbies that are adjacent to things I already like doing. I have way more ideas and interests than I have time for, but that doesn't stop me from trying. I'm pretty competitive, and I'm big into gaming (board and video). I also love playing ultimate frisbee and sand volleyball. I've even gone to a few Dagorhir/Belegarth events.

As a warning- I have a pretty packed summer, so if I don't get back to you right away or disappear for a week, it's probably because I'm at a con or camping with limited internet access.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a data analyst for a local marketing company. When I'm not working, I have an assortment of game groups and get-togethers with my friends. I like to play board games, video games, read, write, and do a variety of crafty things.
I’m really good at
I'm great at asking and answering questions. I've come to realize that's what 80% of my job (and hobbies) really boil down to.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love anything with a good adventure. It's a common theme between most of my favorite books (anything by Brent Weeks or Michael Crichton), movies (Kill Bill, Serenity, Avengers, Princess Bride), TV shows (Jessica Jones, Firefly, Doctor Who), and video games (Bastion, Borderlands 2, Transistor). I also like things that can make me laugh (Scrubs, Three Amigos, Parks and Rec, etc).

I also really don't like this section because I feel like everyone has very similar answers. I don't know if it's because there's a limited set of truly good things out there that most people enjoy or because people put things that they like that they think people want to see. But I tend to just gloss over it when looking at someone's profile.
The six things I could never do without
I'm tweaking this to be the six things that I spend the most time doing/using.

1) A good board game selection. Currently in my car are Roll for the Galaxy and Prohis, but I have a pretty extensive collection in my apartment.
2) My Steam account. I believe I've spent the most time playing Borderlands 2, Civ V, and Left 4 Dead.
3) Something delicious to drink. Sometimes it's water, but I also really enjoy whiskey, beer, and gin.
4) My car. I take a lot of weekend trips, so a fully functioning car is a must have.
5) My new sneakers. I like hiking and playing volleyball and ultimate frisbee, and I recently got a fantastic pair of sneakers that are super comfortable.
6) My phone. If this was 10 years ago, I would have said my iPod, but all of my music and podcasts are on my phone now. I tend to have a soundtrack no matter what I'm doing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Recently, I've started outlining a board gaming podcast that I want to start. I have a ton of topics lined up, and I'd like to feature song parodies written about board games, Weird Al style.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't really have a typical Friday night. In the summer, I'm probably at a game night, hanging with friends, camping, or Netflix binging on my couch. Occasionally I'll be at a con or off road tripping to visit friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sing in the shower. Loudly.
You should message me if
If you tear up at the mention of "Angels in Manhattan", you can help me improve my ultimate frisbee hammer toss, you own at least one Humble Bundle, or you think you can outwit me at Werewolf/Mafia, send me a message!

Nerdy pickup lines are encouraged.
