My self-summary
C'mon! Don't spend all day reading these profiles. People will tell you what they're up to when they meet you face to face.

I can show you parts of Portland you've never seen before (even if you're from town).

Also, I like kids and am not turned off or scared if you have them.
What I’m doing with my life
I work with disabled adults. I'm a writer and I play records around Portland town. Mostly '70's funk & hip-hop. Also. . . . . . superior Soft Rock.
I also love tha dance floor and the get down sounds of sixties soul, hi-octane funk and uptown disco.
I’m really good at
Communication, writing, loving and long division.

I'm also a good listener and not a judger. Everyone has a story to to tell and I want to hear yours.
The first things people usually notice about me
Usually my wit. Easy going charm and sense of style. My hair, they love my hair. My humbleness.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Sometimes a Great Notion by Kesey

The Graduate

The first Stone Roses album
Superior Soft Rock--ie no Piña Colada Song, no Eagles.

Arrested Development/Seinfeld/Mad Men

Gnocchi with amazing red sauce.
Six things I could never do without
1.Good people who stimulate my mind.
3.Zeppelin . . .wait a minute . . .is that six?

4. Jesus/The Bible
5. Family
6. Love in all its wonder.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Long division.

How I wish that I had saved Latin.
On a typical Friday night I am
Dancing to funk, soul, decent disco or dee-jaying around Portland town.

Sometimes a walk to the top of Mt. Tabor is in order to catch the sunset.

(Notice how I said walk, not hike).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cheated at solitaire.

I love the band Bread.

I may crack wise on this essay page, but folks on these sites tend to be way too serious. Let's take it easy and enjoy ourselves. Isn't life uptight enough without adding to the rigid formality of it?

C'mon! Let your hair down. (Oh, that's ok I like short hair too.)
