My self-summary
I don't see likes :(

I'm from the east coast, born and raised in New York. I love the outdoors and thrive as much with dirt under my feet as I do pavement. Camping, biking, hiking, snowboarding and photography are a few activities I enjoy. I like getting out of LA to see the beautiful state we live in, but have no problem being a homebody when it feels right. I like to cook and relax with a good book or movie. I think I've gotten to the point where I'm more interested in exploring parts of LA that are kind of off the grid. There are some cool websites that have some interesting places I've never heard of. I got a list of fun hobbies, so I'm usually not bored. I love vintage cars, and probably drive too fast. Actually, I'm into all things vintage, it's such a fun way to look back at history. I was so upset when the blue cut fire burned the Summit Inn. This is hard to do this in one paragraph... lets just say I have a wide variety of interests and love to learn new things.
What I’m doing with my life
Living, searching, changing, improving.
I’m really good at
Shoveling snow. I can make an awesome meatloaf and au gratin potatoes, as well as a killer breakfast. Making dry toast. Having a good sense of direction, only walked off a cliff once, great story ;) Snowboarding... but sadly don't get to go as much as I'd like. Survival... you could drop me in the middle of nowhere and I'd be fine... actually I would probably be very happy :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books... mostly enjoy non-fiction, although I got a stack of new fiction recently, so loving that! I love movies and try to keep current, thank god for Netflix. Music keeps me sane and I always have my ipod within reach. I always take a moment every day to look for new music/bands I haven't heard before. I really like art, I'm not an expert by any means, just love to look at the creative outlet people have. Recent favorites on TV... The Walking Dead, Longmire, Strike Back, Banshee, Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful, Outlander. I Love Animal Planet and History and Discovery Channels, shows like River Monsters, Deadliest Catch, American Pickers, etc. Someone recently asked me if I had an absolute favorite tv show... I have a few. All in the Family, Magnum PI, The Battlestar Galactica remake and my all time favorite Miami Vice. I love going to new restaurants. I'll try any food at least once. I love to learn about different cultures and trying their food is one of the the best ways :)
The six things I could never do without
The outdoors
My camera
The ocean
My vintage Baloramas
Dry toast
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Traveling and exploring places I have never been. Spending the day taking pictures. Animal and human rights. Sourdough dry toast. Why people don't use turn signals anymore. The growing sense of entitlement people seem to have and how annoying it is. Why humans can't get along... that's a big can of worms I know, but makes for good conversation. Of course in that same context, why mankind seems determined to destroy itself and our planet.
On a typical Friday night I am
On my way to Santa Barbara. Meeting up with friends. Possibly watching a movie or reading while snacking on dry toast. Finding something new to study up on... you're never to old to learn new things ;)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I still own my teddy bear.
You should message me if
