I spend a large majority of my expendable money traveling and doing neat stuff with my pals, therefore I have zero furniture that I have purchased myself and none of it matches. And that's fine by me.
Several years ago did stand up comedy (exactly once), and it went really well. I haven't done it since. I'm terrified I won't be so lucky next time. (My set was mostly about a strange encounter with an OKCupid date. So, like, don't be weird. Or do. I could use some new material.)
My pals are kind, intelligent, and witty people. We play a lot of board games and go on lots of camping trips.
I also watch an unnatural amount of Star Trek and play D&D or some or of tabletop game pretty much every weekend. So if you've got a problem with nerd things, this probably won't work out. It's not my whole life, but it is a significant portion.
I'm looking for a connection and meaningful conversation. Also in the market for high quality cuddles. Ready to feel some feelings.
Luckily, I've got a steady and reliable job enabling the world's caffeine addictions. But I'm currently narrowing down grad school options. Ever since I was a kid I've wanted to study literature for a living. So I'm on the college professor career path. I'll probably (hopefully) end up teaching Spanish literature.
I have a passion for words. If you're a good writer that's always a plus for me. I didn't realize until recently that I can be attracted to the way in which people phrase things. Diction, syntax, vocabulary. All of which is mostly to say, don't be a dummy. That's really all that I ask...mostly.
In my spare time I like to knit, crochet, paint, build things, etc. The act of creating useful and/or aesthetically pleasing things is very satisfying.

Food! Tacos. Sandwiches. Chinese food in China. I'll try pretty much anything. I'm the least picky. I cook most of my own meals at home. I've been told I'm an excellent cook. I'm notorious for spending entirely too much money at the grocery store when I get excited about crafting some kind of high concept meal.
The passage of time. And how quickly things can change. And where I'll be a year from now. And the way that each year seems shorter in contrast as your life gets longer.
The way that language is nothing but arbitrary symbols and sounds that, when combined in various ways, can have infinite meaning and power.
Raising alpacas. Shearing them, spinning yarn, and making awesome stuff. Repeat.
Why so many people lack empathy.
Lately I've been thinking a lot about practical life choices, and how they can lead me to full time, paid adventuring.
I'm looking for a fella with a nice sense of humor, who can write words good, likes to snuggle, and isn't a mean jerk.
Also, if you are, like me, slightly obsessed with all of the content that the McElroy brothers create.
