My self-summary
Was recommended this site by a couple friends, giving it a whirl. I work a lot and in a field primarily dominated by middle aged or older women, so I don't really get many opportunities to meet many girls my age.

I'm a pretty big geek, but I don't wear it on my sleeve. I like anime/manga, sci-fi, computers, games, comics, etc. I'm not really someone who goes out and parties a lot, but I'm not against it either. I like playing sports with friends and hanging out, but I also enjoy having personal time to devote to my geekdom.

I'm someone who doesn't have a ton of friends, but instead the friends I have I'm close with. I don't consider someone I met once who then sent me a facebook invite a "friend," I consider them an acquaintance.

From My Facebook Profile:
Wishes he could shoot spaghetti from his fingertips.
I like Movies, Music, Anime, Manga, Gaming, Online Gaming.

I am smart, hard working, and joke a lot
What I’m doing with my life
Working :P

I work as a supervisor/trainer/HR rep/babysitter over a prescription claims processing/CSR team...which consumes way more of my life than they pay me for.
I’m really good at
Listening to people's problems and offering advice or finding an agreeable solution. Getting a task done. Teaching someone how to do something complicated (usually...). Dealing with BS.
The first things people usually notice about me
I can talk forever about a topic I'm interested in. My beard is a different color from my hair (hair's dark brown, beard is reddish in some places, light blonde to black in others...it's weird).

Six things I could never do without
Assuming the essentials of life are met...

1. computer
2. cell phone (though I don't talk on it a ton)
3. friends
4. car (unless I moved)
5. a decent sound system for movies (bit of an audiophile with movies)
6. coffee...waking up early sucks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Work and how best to avoid doing more than I need to...I fail at this endeavor daily, but I still think about it a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with friends, catching up on some anime/manga, messing around on the computer
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have very dexterous toes.
You should message me if
Any of what I said sounds interesting.
