My self-summary
Genuine, intuitive, empathic, and a seeker. Music writing, recording, producing, trading, etc. Religious, spiritual, and philosophical studies. Self-realization. Guilty pleasures. Nature. Art. Animal lover (not currently an owner). Libra. INTJ. No beard. Sometimes sarcastic; always compassionate, honest, and loyal.
What I’m doing with my life
Medicaid systems analysis by day, entrepreneurial pipe-dreams by night.
I’m really good at
Imagining new timbres and sound sequences away from anything that I can capture them with; also not being able to recall them once I am somewhere that I can capture them.
The first things people usually notice about me
Inwardly: Contemplative, calm, open.
Outwardly: Skinny, tattoos, glasses.
I'm not other people, so this is pure conjecture.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My physical bookshelf is loaded with books on a variety of philosophical, esoteric, and occult topics. I'm particularly interested in perrenialist philosophy, Post-Romantic philosopher poets of Western Europe, Taoism, and the Northern (Scandinavian) Mysteries.

I appreciate modern storytelling, and am a fan of elegantly produced TV shows but I can stoop to lower-brow fare from time to time. I feel like we should all really be trying to watch less TV, read more books, and escape less; so I find myself spending less and less time doing so over the past few years.

My music tastes lean toward the obscure/experimental; but I'm into it all, having worked in a couple record stores and grown up with music junkies. I'm just as happy listening to a Handel organ concerto as I am with a classic Paul Simon album.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The present moment and If I am thinking too much.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately it has either been improvising weirdo music with my second family or crashing out with a book on Neoplatonism in my lap.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like to think I don't have a lot to hide. I also like to think that if we didn't live in the ultra-stratified and materialistic socioeconomic environment that capitalism puts us in, no one would have anything to hide. I'm a voluntarist.
