My self-summary
I’m a bit of a contradiction. On the one hand, I’m intensely outgoing and social. I love meeting new people, going new places, and pretty much experiencing all the amazing things the city has to offer. Movies, eating at new restaurants, and dancing till the wee hours of the morning. On the other hand, I’m also kind of a huge nerd. I’m a history buff with an obsession with gadgets and a soft spot for Shakespeare working in a biology lab studying cancer. A strange combination, to be sure, but hopefully it just makes me more interesting :)

I have a sharp, somewhat dry wit which can be acerbic at times, but I believe it’s perfectly fine to mock the world (healthy, even)…just as long as you’re equally comfortable mocking yourself. I’m a big wine aficionado, to the point of being a bit of a snob about it, and often have friends over and host wine tastings.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently working in the medical field, but transitioning into going to law school.
The first things people usually notice about me
My ridiculously long hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Keats. The West Wing. The Phantom Tollbooth. Kurosawa. Good Will Hunting. Othello. Richard III. Anything that makes you think. I have a rather bizarre memory, so if I quote something verbatim that doesn't necessarily mean I've watched/read it 17 times. Well, most of the time, at least.

Food: Yes, please.
You should message me if
You are: Someone who’s witty and fun, with a sense of humor and a zest for life. Someone who is passionate about what they do and who they do it with. Intelligence is a must and charm is a definite plus. Other than that, I don’t really have a “type” per se. It’s great if we have things in common, but it’s also nice to meet people that can introduce you to unfamiliar things. People have a remarkable capacity to surprise you, and I do like being surprised :)
