My self-summary
OK so here goes...
Musician, contractor, dancer, inventor. I am in a phase of life where I am ready to do more traveling than I have in the past. Wouldn't mind finding a travel companion, if not the love of my life. I'm somewhat eccentric, but mostly in a good way... I have done a lot of things in my life, and have lots of great stories to tell (which will all be in my memoirs if I ever finish them).
I have two great grown up kids who are a total blessing to me. I live in a beautiful 100 year old house I am constantly working on.
For fun I play music, or go out to hear it. Love jazz, latin, folk, blues, reggae. Theater, symphony, museums, and dance, dance, dance. Tango, salsa, swing, bachata, cajun, blues, zydeco, you name it.
I have been called a Renaissance Man most of my life, because I do so many different things. Which, of course, has its good sides and bad. Mostly good (does that tell you anything about glass half full/empty? Hope not...).
I have great friends, and love to party, but am also a homebody as I work from home, and work on it, so I stay put a lot. But I also love to travel, have been all over the world, heading to Cuba next, very excited. Though their Spanish is pretty hard to understand from my past experiences...
So if you are looking for somebody that lives out of the box, under the radar, and has very eclectic taste, drop me a line. If you are very traditional and conventional, we are prolly not a great match. But if you like to walk a bit on the wild side, maybe some sparks might fly.
What I’m doing with my life
Renovating my 100 year old house. Dancing. Yoga. Travel. Writing music, poetry, and prose. Contemplating life. Did I mention dance?
I’m really good at
anything I put my mind to. If I want to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea. Nobody's ever told me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Sorry, I don't have favorites. The second you say something is a favorite, that means everything else just dropped a notch below. Life is too short for favorites.
Six things I could never do without
I refuse to answer a pat question like that, sorry.
It's not my iphone, though.
And if your iphone is on your list, we're prolly not a good match...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I actually think way too much. Always have had a highly overactive brain. So the list would be quite long.
My next invention, song, project, adventure, or relationship. Don't spend much time doting on the past, though. A waste of time.
On a typical Friday night I am
The word 'typical' is not in my vocabulary.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't hide anything, so nothing in my life is private. Just ask, I'll tell. Just make sure you can handle the answer.
You should message me if
you are creative, fun-loving, eccentric, eclectic, electric, or just want to talk.
