My self-summary
Sarcastic & snarky personal growth, health & fitness enthusiast who loves the outdoors, hiking, playing sports / games, and cooking. So original, right?

I'll take deep intellectual conversation over small talk any day. I'm fascinated by what makes a person tick and nothing is off limits or offends me. So I'm the guy who will ask piercing questions when first meeting someone and see how far they're willing to go. If you too are straightforward, like pushing boundaries, and can slip in snide comments to balance the seriousness, we're golden.

ESTJ / ENFJ, physical touch & quality time for those interested.

I'm in an open relationship. Looking to meet awesome people to share fun times with, platonic or romantic. Happy to chat more about this; just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
You guessed it - I work in tech. I'm a software engineer working for an online education company in San Francisco. Also volunteering as a mentor. And while perhaps cliche for the Bay, I really love what I do and consider myself extremely lucky to be able to say that. Those house prices though.. crazy!

Some current hobbies: Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Tango dancing, soap making, obstacle races, massage, chess.
Next on my list: comedy / improv, magic, break dancing.

Location note: I split my time between SF & Concord.
I’m really good at
Making hummus. I've made 38 different versions thus far. Only 3 gag reflexes elicited so I'd say it's a success.
Napping. Seriously, I've perfected the art.
Deflecting arguments of why my favorite shoes are called five fingers when really, they're on the toes. Hopefully I'm running with the dog so I just call him back and play the cuteness card. Win.
Listening. That's right, baby girl, I'm all ears.
Being optimistic.
Mario Kart 64.
Ping pong.
The first things people usually notice about me

But when I want to be seen:
I've been told I have nice eyes. That or the fact that I'm always wearing sandals.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Documentary: Happy, Inequality for All
Books: Red Rising, Atlas Shrugged, Harry Potter, Switch, Ethical Slut, Slow Sex
Movies: Matrix, Now You See Me, Zoolander, Dark Knight
Shows: Brooklyn 99, Avatar - The Last Airbender, House of Cards, Parks and Recreation, 24, Heroes, Survivor, Amazing Race
Music: Anything with a good beat, uplifting trance. Beautiful Day by U2 was my alarm clock each morning in high school and is still my favorite song to this day.
Food: Everything but green olives; omnivorous. Healthy & home cooked!
Board games: Puerto Rico, Pandemic, Dominion, Chess
Six things I could never do without
Everyday humor. Ideally laughing so hard I cry, but that only happens about every other day.
A good challenge (I'm game if you're game).
Intellectual and physical stimulation.
Chipotle 13.5 times per year. No more, no less.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What my favorite color is. It's a toss up between clear with sparkles and light purple.

With my remaining, very limited, brainpower:
- How I can mentor someone in the most impactful way.
- What the world would be like if people were more compassionate. I'm a big believer in the power of habit, 1% change over time, and bottom up grassroots movements - the "if everyone turned off a light.." idea.
On a typical Friday night I am
Staying in. I like to live dangerously.

On my not so daring nights, I can be found:
Hosting potluck game nights - friendly competition in charades, board games, cornhole, ping pong, sports, croquet, you name it!
Or out in nature / on a weekend camping / backpacking trip - I really appreciate the simple things.
You should message me if
You've got sass. I mean you're really, really, really ridiculously good looking funny.
You think we'd be great adventure / activity buddies. You have a hobby you'd like to share or start.

You want to share a Chipotle burrito.

Haha just kidding I want my own.
The two of us
