I'm a SF bay area local who's been living in nyc for 6+ years. I love my neighborhood spots and enjoy jazz, wine, beer, cooking, and hanging with my friends. Weekend mornings usually involve listening to live music and brunching. I also know this place with an amazing lobster roll and $.92 cocktails...
I also enjoy bike rides, golfing, puzzles, reading a good book on the beach, and will be in Hokkaido, Japan in February for two weeks of skiing.
This year will involve a lot of international traveling, but it's so exciting! Maybe we can do it together or meet somewhere!
I also love the "Best Short Stories of..." series.
more into fiction since our daily life reads like non-fiction...
but I guess if we are talking about material stuff,
foam pillow - we spend at least 1/3 of our lives. come on! let's be realistic
a very sharp chef's knive
Internet enabled phone
library of endless books
non-material stuff? you can ask me :)
Also, I think about what is going on in the world today, and why we are in the situation we are in.
I also think about this: oh my, it'd be nice to meet someone that's awesome, compatible and we are into each other!
Also, if you want to go on a trip to hokkaido this winter for ski/snowboard, sushi, and meeting people from all over the world!
Or you're just super cool and awesome. that works, too!
