What I’m doing with my life
Working & playing & connecting & creating. I spend my days striving to learn, grow and contribute to meaningful acceptance & growth. I'm interested in meeting a new fellow with whom to share active adventures, hedonistic pursuits, deep thoughts (!) and romantic companionship. I enjoy film-watching, reading, swimming, daydreaming, cooking, music-listening, tai chi chuan, yoga, bike-riding, hiking, and being outdoors. I practice meditation. I appreciate stories and value book and street smarts, both. Trying to work more with my hands, in dirt especially. Open and curious by design, I am interested in new amusements. Meeting a potential cooking partner is appealing. Vegetarian tendencies a plus, though not necessary.
I’m really good at
Connecting the dots. Feathering nests. Repurposing. Wondering. Wandering. Feeling. Appreciating. Map reading. Being present. Thinking things over. Asking questions. Sweating the details. Ideas!
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm paying attention.

The six things I could never do without
1. Family
2. Fresh Air
3. Movement
4. Meaning
5. Love
6. Thinking Cap
My library card is also indispensable, though it wouldn't replace any above. Hmmm... I'll sub-classify it under #s 4 - 6. Yes, that works.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything! * Why? Or, motivation. Like, people: why they think and feel and do what they think and feel and do. * How things work. * What goes on inside? * Where does stuff come from? * What do people do all day? (With credit due Richard Scarry and friends). * Mistakes. * Redemption. *Healing. * Scars.* Expression. * Intimacy.* Human development. * Rituals & Traditions. * Meaning-making. * Design. * Systems. * Substance. *
On a typical Friday night I am
Cooking and sharing dinner and drink with friends. Or film-watching, talking, reading, writing, or sleeping. Sometimes decompressing from the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Hmmm, an interesting query for one who thinks privacy is generally underrated. I'm far from a closed book, but have grown to value stepping slowly, with intention and toward a chosen other. In time...

Wait, here's something to spark curiosity: I was once contacted by a bounty hunter on this site. Make of that what you will :)
You should message me if
You are as interested in categories such as "I'm really bad at...", "I want to learn how to..." and "On a typical Tuesday afternoon I am...", as those above. You are inspired to do so. You're not a "player" (dated term, I know), but you like to play. You feel the feelings. You suspect we are simpatico.
