I've online dated on and off over the years (mostly off). While I'm not entirely convinced by it, I keep an open mind. If you reach out to me, let's try to avoid the "checklists" in our heads. You know, the subconscious matching against the profile you read here. Vibe is vibe. If it's really a concern of yours that I haven't read enough Murakami books, then we're not looking for the same thing. We'll know it if it's there. I'm not looking for an in-between, sitting on the fence, mulling it over, not straightforward scenario. Let's be sincere, whether it's short or long-term.
I like sporting events, I would say I am avid, but not rabid. I enjoy biking, hiking, playing tennis and the like. I enjoy traveling, and look to continue exploring new places and spaces in life.
I enjoy a homecooked meal as much as I enjoy going out to eat. I believe every great neighborhood needs a diner, just to sit, relax and appreciate life in its basic form. I like cities and sitting on a lake.
Books: Haruki Murakami is my favorite author if that is any insight, read a lot of urban-related stuff.
Music: Metal, Rock, Old-School Rap, Ambient/Earthy.
Food: Easier to tell you what I don't like, which is most (not all) seafood, beans (except edamame and string beans), eggplant, spinach and mushrooms. Other than that I have tried and enjoyed a lot. If its well-prepared, I dig it.
